    Hey,

I'm trying to open a gmail email with iMacros, so far I've been able to login but it won't open an email, does anyone have a working example ?

have Imacros click the "Basic Html" In gmail at the bottom of the screen. Then it should work...

So Imacros logs in, next it would scroll down and click on "Basic Html", then you shouldn't have a problem clicking any links, you may need to use *(wildcards) though.

If you still can't get it to work, enable and allow pop ups from gmail.com

I am already using the basic html view it clicks the email (blue border appears) but nothing happens.

    Code:
    TAG POS=1 TYPE=* ATTR=TXT:Beginning<SP>of<SP>Subject<SP>Here* CONTENT=EVENT:CLICK
That's what I have now for the html view.

Try enabling pop ups from gmail.com in your browser. I had a problem with yahoo doing that.

I'll test my gmail right now and see what I can come up with...

Simple HTML view doesn't use pop-ups and I'm using the iMacros Scripting Edition Browser.

If this fails I'll just use the TAGX and TAGY values to click on it.

Guys, you don't need scripting edition or tagx/tagy.

Simply switch to Basic HTML in Gmail and record your click on the email title.

Remember, once you click on email, it will be marked as Read and it won't be bolded any more unless you mark it as Unread again!

That's possibly reason why you'r macro can't click on the email. Your macro is taught to click on bolded email.

I'm no newb to scripting and now not to iMacros anymore. I can manually edit them to work and I know about the bolding. but I'll probably use tagx and tagy as it would be the most reliable.

Yes, I do it almost daily but I have advanced to a new level now. iMacro itself isn't adequate to perform all tasks as it lacks logical operations; I am using it with java-scripting. Now I am able to send tweets all day long with multiple twitter IDs, sending bulk emails, scrapping data from websites, uploading data from csv files and hundreds of tasks that are easier at first sight but take a lot of time.

You seems to be little late but anyhow, what are you seeking?
