The new davinci-003:
Better quality, better long form content, and more sophisticated. Check it out at OpenAI Playground or thru the API:

"We're excited to announce the release of the newest addition to the GPT-3 model family: `text-davinci-003`. This model builds on top of our previous InstructGPT models, and improves on a number of behaviors that we’ve heard are important to you as developers.

`text-davinci-003` includes the following improvements:

It produces higher quality writing. This will help your applications deliver clearer, more engaging, and more compelling content.

It can handle more complex instructions, meaning you can get even more creative with how you make use of its capabilities now.

It’s better at longer form content generation, allowing you to take on tasks that would have previously been too difficult to achieve.

To illustrate the improvements, check out the following example:

`text-davinci-002`:

I am trying to write a web application. What backend frameworks could I use, and what are their pros and cons?

There are many backend frameworks that could be used for a web application. Some popular ones include Django, Ruby on Rails, and Express.js. Each of these frameworks has its own pros and cons, so it is important to choose one that will fit the specific needs of your application.

`text-davinci-003`:

I am trying to write a web application. What backend frameworks could I use, and what are their pros and cons?

1. Node.js: Node.js is a JavaScript-based runtime environment that is popular for writing backend applications. Pros: Node.js is fast, lightweight, and easy to learn, and it has a large community of developers. Cons: Node.js can be difficult to debug and there is a lack

of robust tools for building large-scale applications.

2. Django: Django is a popular Python-based web framework. Pros: Django is powerful and well-documented, making it easy to get started. It also supports a wide range of databases and APIs, allowing you to easily integrate with other services. Cons: Django can be difficult to scale for large applications and can be slow for certain types of requests.

3. Ruby on Rails: Ruby on Rails is a popular web framework based on the Ruby programming language. Pros: Ruby on Rails is easy to learn and can be used to quickly build powerful web applications. It also has a wide range of built-in features, such as authentication and authorization. Cons: Ruby on Rails can be slow and resource-intensive, and it can be difficult to scale.

Starting today, you can access `text-davinci-003` through our API and playground at the same price as our other Davinci base language models ($0.0200 / 1k tokens).

We’re excited to see how you build with it, and we look forward to hearing your feedback!

- The OpenAI Team"

Google hates AI. With the deep pockets, strong muscles and long arms that Google has, I'm wondering if soon, Google will start a legal battle with the AI content writing industry. Though it logically makes no sense, however with deep pockets, strong muscles and long arms, logic & reality stands no chance.

Legal battle against it would be another anti-monopolistic move from the big G, as far as I'm concerned. It'll all result in fruition.

If Google battles it, then it GPT3 may exist low key or become something like crypto. That's just my theory.

Anyway there are tons of solid academic research in Natural language processing and AI and I don't think Google is powerful enough to kill all of that, it's even counterproductive lol.

Even with deep pockets, Google will still be unsuccessful at killing AI content, overtime. Lets see, wait for it.

So there would be no such thing as the death of GPT3. Nah it's here to stay and will keep evolving as always.

Let's do some tests. I will try to do some articles and see if I can get my income quicker.

Them big budgets will now go to fight GPT-4 and GPT-5 - in 2026. Grab your popcorn and enjoy the show.

Been running tests in the playground from my past weeks history using davinci2 and it's significantly better. Generating bio's or longer content is much better.

Just made a quick test on some medical blog topics. It is impressive! Much longer content from a single instruct and in higher quality!

I started testing OpenAI today, any way to get free credits to test it? For the moment I put my card but I don't want to spend too much. Are these texts really useful or does google detect them?

Does anyone know of a guide to use GPT 3 directly without an intermediary like Jasper? Pricing is overly expensive for Jasper (which explains why they can pay so high for referral fees).

Note: it's updated up until June 2021 (!)

Facts, stats, study data is as tad more accurate now (albeit still hit & miss).

But overall decenet improvement until GPT-4 comes in.

This is brutal. I've run some tests and it's a huge improvement (I'm using my nichesss LTD). What stands out for me is the rewriter. Previously the rewriter was okayish, now it's really really good.

Wow, that is really impressive. It has been a few months since I have tested davinci-002. Will definitely test davinci-003 now.

Google does not hate AI they actually invest a lot in AI and even provide free platforms such as colab, or free credits for researchers to run their tunning.
They already use AI generated content for providing answers for certain queries and as AI evolve more and more answers will come directly from Google without the user needing to click the SERPs

They are more like a hypocrite then. Though I'm not saying they hate AI. I am saying they're aren't a big fan of 'AI content'

Have you seen the October spam update yet? Most of the sites that got hit are a result of carelessly implemented AI content. So...
