I've noticed that consistently my websites rank worse in Bing than they do in Google (and they rank even worse in Yahoo). What are the onsite differences in what Bing and Yahoo look for vs what Google looks for? In Google my sites get high marks and do all Google's suggestions, and thus rank well... but for some reason that is not translating into good Bing and Yahoo rankings. Ideas?

Did you verify and add your sitemap to bing & yahoo webmaster tools?
Does your website have meta data?
Have you pinged your domain & pages with a mass pinger?

I've avoided this actually, I was under the impression that pinging was something of a red flag to Google. The website is VERY large, 1000's of auto-generated pages... is this a good idea you think?

I find old school tactics still work with Bing, Yahoo.

Things like exact-match keyword domains especially.

Quite a lot, actually. Heavy on the high pr and social signals especially.

I'm beginning to wonder this as well, I ranked better with them about a year or so ago when I was using older, spammier tactics. Perhaps they are stuck in 2012 still, while Google is anal.
