I have several niche sites that I worked hard on onpage SEO.
I know that there are a couple tools that evaluate your onpage SEO. Which ones do you use and find useful?

Use the IBP or the Website Auditor from SEO Powersuite! Both of them are giving you great results!

I actually was not impressed with Website Auditor. It wanted to make some changes which were really not visitor friendly at all. After I made the changes my keywords took a dive too, but once I put everything back the way it was before they returned to their original position. It could have been that I wasn't using it properly, but I'm pretty sure I was.

I've been using Easy SEO by Yoast lately and have had pretty good results.

For a free online tool use seocomrade.com

You can also use easywpseo and seopressor.com if your site is wordpress based , it's not free though.

[IMG]I found IBP to make my pages end up too spammy by the time I got a good report. I just use the SEO quake tool bar in Firefox, specifically the "density tab" and the keyword cloud.

This gives me a breakdown of the page by keywords, and a visual representation of the page so I can actually see what Google thinks the page actually means

It also breaks it down into single, 2, 3 and 4 word keyword phrases.
I look at the keyword cloud, then if i need to make something more prominent, I just tweak the article a few words at a time.

This is by no means all the SEO I do, but it gives you a good grasp on what the page is actually targeting. Sometimes you are targeting a similar phrase accidentally and do not realize it.

For you BHWers who would like a little better information I have posted an example here:

    Hope this helps someone.

way back i used webceo with lot of success but frankly I have not used any software in couple years.

I would not rely on single piece of software, always try to run at least two side by side and remember NOT to forget Humans!!

Onpage optimization has to take visitor usability into account. Even rankings are influenced by bounce rates, pages visited, load times and time spent on your website.
