Just want to hear the opinions of others on this. The principle applies to all niches so for example if you are in a micro-niche of "Toys" be it maybe lego, RC cars, action figures etc. - for this example we'll pick action figures. What i am wondering is which of these two approaches is best: This has nothing to do with action figures at all, but rather the principle, as it applies to nearly all niches in some form. 1. The approach where you use google insights, google trends etc. to find the latest fads or crazes; for example a new movie has come out so "Spiderman 10" action figures will be selling like crazy over the next 90 days, so you decide to source those and a few other fad action figures for your micro-niche. So you are constantly keeping up to date with the "most popular crazes" of the niche. 2. The approach where go for classic, or well recognized action figures, such as those that have being selling steady over the past few years. With this approach you are selling items that are well established and have steady sales, in the above approach you are selling items in huge demand but, over their short period. If you are sharing your opinion can you please make it slightly more applicable to a beginner. Thank you for reading. Any advice appreciated.
