Online Personality VS. Real World Personality.

    I find it funny,

    Today as I was going ahead with doing everything I always do I started to think about how I do business online vs. in the real world.

    So here is a short list of the differences...

    Real World Online
    -Treat people fairly -Charge $$$ for services -Every person I deal with gets my full attention - make sure everythign is done perfectly, not just well -Dont know you, dont care about you - Charge $ for my services - There are no people, only paypal emails - Do things quick as long as they are done well
    that's just a bit of it.. but I find it funny how my attitude just switches when I deal with people online.

    For the exact reasons you say about how you deal with online customers, I make sure I get to know them extra well, and do my work extra carefully, and that's exactly why they keep coming back everytime with bigger orders. then again, we probably don't sell the same things...

    First step is to be completely honest with yourself like you just did. Now you can find flaws in your online services and improve.
    Make your business online personal too and know their are people behind those emails. Not only will your customers feel you care but you will see more repeat business. I agree it is easy to just see usernames. But when we realize people are behind them is when we can add that personality and good business.

    A good start would be to follow a similar way with clients as set by GiorgiB...:cool:
