A useful tool I use while reading post on this forum is Microsoft OneNote. When I first joined this forum I had a hard time remembering where I read certain post if I wanted to refer back to it. Using OneNote solved that problem. It's one of the programs I keep open most of time.
I just run my mouse over the selection I want to copy, ctrl-c, go to OneNote ctrl-v. OneNote makes an index from the first line, so I always include the title when copying. It's also good for other information as well. It will save graphics, preserve any urls into live links. It even makes a live link to the source of what is being copied.
I have found and copied something useful twice from this forum just today.
