    Hi guys!

First of all I'd like to introduce myself (Kathrin's going to that by herself later).
I'm 18 (almost 19) years old and from Germany. I got my high school exam in June and after partying for some time I decided it was time for me to make some money! So now I took one year off to learn and get rich (or at least getting some money).

The first time I heard about IM was when Kathrin told me that he makes some money online. This was like a year ago and I was still in school so I didn't have a lot of time.
Some member here on the chat whom I asked about where to start suggested to start with Ed Dale's Challenge.
I learnt a lot but wasn't able to make some money because I didn't research my keywords properly.

Kathrin also decided not to go to uni yet and so we started to work together.

    Here's where our journey starts:

On the 1th of August we created our first wordpress blog (without proper keyword research again...). We hosted it on Dynadot on an .info-domain.
We pushed our blog through posterous, scrapebox, manual commenting and a little bit of link exchange with other blogs in that niche. We also use youtube to get some traffic.

Monetizing is done by adsense at the moment we've earnt like 4? ~6 Dollar and about 10-20 visitors a day. For our Main Keyword we rank at 170 (we changed our Main Keyword when we noticed that there wasn't enough search volume fot that phrase). For our former keyword we're at position 14.

Parallel to that we tried some of the methods here but none of them really worked for us (we followed them step-by-step without any twist, so that's not surprising).

At the moment we're doing a lot of keyword research (as it's obviously one of our weaknesses) to put up some autoblogs about these keywords.

Besides that I'm learning myself some html to get a better unterstanding.

    How this journey goes on:

Kathrin or me try to post here everyday if there's enough interest telling you about what we did that day and what we earnt.

Why are we doing this journey?

First of all we want to keep us motivated so we don't give up (as it seems to be a common problem in IM). Second we hope to get some feedback and tips on what we do. Last but not least we want to inspire and motivate others to get started and do what needs to be done!

What is my goal (can't speak for Kathrin):

-earning enough money to travel around the world
-earning enough money to move out from my parent's home

    I'd really appreciate your feedback!

Great! Congrats for graduating from highschool and starting your website. I am not any experienced IMer but could the reason that your website is getting few visitors is because the content is not interesting and quality enough?

Most of the content is written by myself and not copied, I think the low visitor rate comes from the bad ranking.

After a long pause, back again. Meanwhile our site ranks on the second page for the keyword we are targeting and we expect to get an even better ranking the next day.
What we did? Just bought some backlinks on fiverr. We also optimized our blog posts with seopressor.
