One of the biggest music websites in the world (Alexa less than 11k) with millions of visitors has been now seized by Homeland Security.

If you now go to OnSmash.com you will see that Homeland Security has taken the website down.

This means that over 2,500+ videos on my website no longer work due to this seizure by the Homeland Security of OnSmash.com since their video embeds are no longer available.

    This is just the beginning.

Like I've said before and I'll say it again, the internet is going to be under very tight control to a few companies, and all smaller business owners will eventually be shut down.

Take it how you want, but it's coming to that point.

The point of it is to have as much control of the worlds resources, including the internet, as possible.

You can pretend that Google and other big companies "want" smaller business owners because that's where they get the "most" amounts of money, but that's not true.

Google gets BILLIONS from NSA and other Fortune 500 companies to monopolize the internet.

The security sector is planning on taking over ALL aspects of society. First it's TSA at airports, and now they've announced that they want checkpoints at malls, stadiums, train stations, and highways.

    This is just the beginning.

The monopolizing of ALL industries will continue and within the next 2-5 years entrepreneurs would be lucky to even have their own government operated licenses for business and with a very big tax on it.

So don't put your eggs in one basket, and make as much money as you can now before it's too late because the time will come when making money online will be gone forever!

And this is a GLOBAL take over, not just individual countries.

Now you can dismiss this if you want, but you'll see later that the facts were all correct, and that the monopoly is indeed being planned by Fortune 500 companies all across the globe to takeover every aspect of society.

    Only two ways to go...

Up into the world of degrees, credentials, and licenses.

    OR

Down below the radar, into the black market...

That's the way it is in the Third World, never thought the USA would go that way but here we are.

i'm guessing you didn't have them on your own server cause of........well what they were (copywrited)? any other reason? i'm assuming it was quicker to do it that way too.

does it help your site to load any quicker etc? i'm probably reading far into this but had this question in my mind so i thought this might be a good time to ask. thanks

Well the OP paints this as an example of the feds trying to take over the internet, but that's a bit of a stretch.

They aren't taking over the internet, this is just another example that they take dmca violations seriously. A site might get away with it for awhile, but the more popular it gets the more likely they'll shut it down. Even if the website isn't actually sharing the files themselves, the lawsuits against companies like napster, limewire and kazaa have set the precedents. If the membership is using the site to facilitate the sharing, then the website is liable.

The OP said it himself "over 2,500+ videos on my website no longer work due to this seizure". The only way the seizure could cause that is if onsmash was facilitating the sharing.

OnSmash crossed a line with the dmca and got shut down because of it. The little guy can still make plenty of money on the internet. It's just becoming harder to do it if your relying on any pirated movies or music now. As time goes on there's always going to be more regulation to be concerned with, but that doesn't mean the feds are taking over the internet. There's plenty of other ways to make money without breaking any laws.

Video/music sharing websites are obviously going to be shutdown for copyright infringement, this doesnt mean whole of the internet marketing thing will come to an end!

We need to keep the internet ours. All the news and media outlets are being bought up by a group called the Hindenberg group which Obama and Hilary Clinton have ties with. Us blackhatters need to show them what we're made of and protect the last ounce of freedom we have!

Are you serious? Have you SEEN our immigration laws lately? Have you seen the bleeding hearts who do not want to separate the illegal parents from their anchor babies? Really?

Open up just about any news site and there is at least ONE story (if not more) per month about an illegal immigrant fighting for his/her "rights" as if the US has a Bill of "Illegal Immigrants" Rights we must up hold.

ICE has become irrelevant due to the immigration laws some states seem to love to pass. Like the one in CA where illegal immigrants who graduated from a CA high school doesn't have to pay out of state university fees whereas LEGAL citizens who graduated from a non-CA high school must pay out of state university fees. (and CA wonder why their state is on the verge of a bankruptcy).

Instead of allowing the ICE division to die a rather pitiful death, seems like the government just reassigned them to cyber duty.

These threads are getting annoying. Why is it that every time something bad happens to a black hatter it's someone else's fault?

If you're going to use black hat techniques you should always be prepared for the worst. Everyone here knows that black hat and DMCA spell trouble. Suck it up and find another method to mine.

    Stop crying already!

    The sky is not falling!

    There is no conspiracy!

I was responding $$Money$$ as to why ICE is involved with cyber crimes and not immigration.

And my statement still stand. Thanks to stupid states like CA, immigration laws have changed and ICE seem to have been re-focused on cyber duty rather than kicking illegals out.
