One of my YouTube accounts is eligible for Partnership, but I know for a fact the videos are not mine, and anyone could really notice that.

So if I were to sign-up for partnership, would these videos just be removed, or would I start to earn revenue from those videos without a problem?

I don't want to get sued or anything like that.

Well i think it really depends. If its someone elses home videos Youtube won't know but if its Katy Perry's California Gurls Youtube will figure it out really fast.

It really depends on the videos. Is the original video owner still active?

It's a movie trailer, but my username and page looks like a legit movie industry related company. I'm not going to take any chances though, it's pretty simple to find the copyright owner of a movie trailer.

You might want to monetize it in other ways, sell links in the description, or put your own link in the description that takes people to a site that can make cash. You might even be able to make more than youtube will pay you. Just the fact that youtube considered you for a partnership means that there is potential money somewhere, it's just a matter of how you make it.

Good idea. I think i'll place a blog link in description, and put a redirect to a cpa offer.
