    Hi,

    I have a website about freelancing jobs, tutorials and resources. Its new and getting about 100+ visitors. I expect this number to increase significantly in the coming days.

    Now, I wanna ask,

    How can I increase adsense revenue?

    But most importantly, can you guys please suggest methods other than adsense to monetize the website (The niche is, as I said above, freelancing).

    Thank you for your time.

    @youtube
    I am already using the affiliate programs of scriptlance, get a freelancer, lime exchange etc.
    I am also using amazon affiliate program.

    @TingPoon
    AFIK there is no such freelancing site.

    Any other advice is welcome...

    Thanks

    As for adsense, experiment with the layout/position/colors of your adblock. Even a little change can make a difference in CTR.

    If you are looking to implement someother revenue generating methods, you could always add your own job board to the mix and there are quite a few scripts that will set this up for you.

    Have you thought about packaging up the tutorials into an ebook or video product and sell that?

    Experiment with your adsense layout and colors also to increase that revenue.

    If you start a newsletter, you can sell advertising on that also.

    yeh after some experimentation what works best for me is a adsense block in the sidebar (the long ones) and a square block at the start of each post, with the post wrapped around it. Also blend the ads to the colour of your site.

    I guess that earning from adsense is not only blending ads with the content but putting ads in places where the most obviously would be clicked on. Site may look shitty if you adjust ads to the top. right top, and left, and also blend them in the text. But as far as this are relevant ads they should do the trick. You can flagg those ads that you think that arent relevant. A good advice is to place sth realy relevant in the upper left section because this is natural spot where people tend to look often (scientifically proved)

    What i think is that freelancers are really smart guys and they know what a G. ad is ... and not clicking it :)
