Recently i searched and got one expired domain on pet niche, which has got metrics. And i am planning to do SILO for that new domain.

But the problem is that the domain got both cat and dog and the domain name.

(e.g) usefulcatdog(.)com

if i do silo for cat and dog separatelly like
usefulcatdog.com/dog/dog-foods/
usefulcatdog.com/cat/cat-foods/

will google harm me for repeating the word cat and dog on urls?

Or what kind of silo for this kind of domains?

Kindly help. @WebMinati @Hetneo @Geasy

You can keep those "cat" and "dog" as categories if you consider adding more subcategories to them. if not, you should keep the URL short

The problem with the silo structure is not the setup.

You have to understand that the easier it is for the user to use your website, the higher the chance you will rank higher and get more traffic.

The problem as far as I can see it is magical thinking.

There's no other way to phrase it.

Many people think that if you follow a certain formula, then you're in, and you'll get the success you want.

Well, structure is one thing; overall quality experience is another.

If your website has the "right silo" structure but is not engaging and filled with barely readable content, good luck hanging on to those rankings.

Sooner or later, Google RankBrain will catch up to you and sink your rankings, assuming you got them in the first place.

There are other factors to consider.

I'm not in any way diminishing or downgrading the value of structure but think of it as only a part of the package.

It would be best if you focused on users' experience.

What kind of emotions would people get when they read your content?

What level of trust would they walk away with after reading what they came for?

How closely does your content come to people's intent behind the keyword they used to find your materials?

Think along these lines, and you will MORE LIKELY be richly rewarded.
