this is one fucked up mess

so i'm making some money selling on egay lately. how does gaypal thank me?

by limiting my account for 'suspicious activity'

first of all, i wouldn't be using gaypal if ebay didn't make it MANDATORY. if i they let me, i'd be using other payment processors.

second, by gaypal limiting my account, i cannot fulfill orders and i cannot make sales...hurting my ebay business.

my gaypal account is supposed to be 'verified' . it's not fair to force users to use your payment processor, and then shut down that processor when business is doing good....

yes gaypal really sucks when that happens. Maybe they froze your acc cause you were doing something :ahem: on the dark side?

who's csing? we're not talking about epn here....i'm selling stuff on ebay not breaking any rules in this case.

ebay makes paypal mandatory for their transactions.
ebay won't allow any other payment processor
paypal limits your account for one reason or another, you can't take orders, you can't fulfill orders
clients can't pay, yet ebay still charges you a sellers fee.
ebay needs to open the door and allow people to use other payment processors to prevent abuse

Just saying. No one's csing. Might be a possibility that they can link you're acc to an epn account.

Yea it's basically a stupid monopoly. There are other websites out there that try to compete against it, but you just can't beat the giant.

Absolutely, what you could do is be crafty and change all your listings to credit card/debit card etc and email each client seperately OUTSIDE of Ebay and send them to Google Checkout. This is what started doin b4 i realised the potential in being a girl and E-Whoring

. Anyway, Paypal screwed me too, i lost $1200. And to be honest I dont think you are gonna get it back. Do the Google Checkout thing....

I'm waiting for the class action lawsuit also so that I can jump in on it. The bastards have cost me ALOT of money over the past five years. With the way that they are murdering small businesses right now, it should just be a matter of time.

Yes gaypal are the worst scamming company i have ever had the misfortune to use, I must have had my account limited over 15 times now and EVERY time is when i have just been paid a substantial amount of money.

They must have some bot scanning to see how much is in your account, limit it then give you impossible tasks to get it unlimited. They make my blood boil the scamming bastards.

Anyway i have managed to get mine unlimted a bit quicker before by emailing all the emails below instead of going through the 'help desk' monkeys.

I am amazed that the former users of gaypal don't own them by now simply from the class action lawsuits. These guys have to be one of the most over the top abusive financial corporations in history. For what it's worth check out *flexepayment*.com. I'm not an affiliate but this might help?

Well first we will have to stand behind in line the US government is after them first . Trying to regulate them because what they do is borderline illegal . They are acting as a bank giving debit cards offering interest but are dodgeing federal laws .

So soon as the government starts butt flubbing them we can have what is left I am sure . Because that is the only way there stupid legal clauses will ever be over ridden .

Like I said gaypal is unsuable as it is now . But that will change when the government gets a hold of there ass .
I mean I clearly stated there user agreement here . And you did agree to it in order to use there service . So get off the class action suit thing it just will not work . What needs to happen is people should start reading the fine print before signing up to use a service .Instead of bitching when they get fucked that they are going to sue .
