On Elance if you cancel a job and take a % of the money upon cancellation can the client still leave bad feedback?

In other words you agree to refund 50% and cancel the job. When cancelling it gives you that option, can the client still leave bad feedback or is the job over at this point?

Yes, the client can leave feedback. People can see that feedback, but your overall rating wont drop/raise

Its all own your client. But your this act has 99.99% chances for the bad review. I am working on oDesk. When the projects accomplished successfully or client ends the contract, He/She able to give review about work. So you should first take serious decision and make your mind clear about the contract or any deal. Best of Luck.

Are you sure about that, because I know for sure if you cancel a job with 100% refund to client they are not able to leave feedback. Does that change in the case of a partial refund and if it does how can it not impact your rating?

Elance will delete your account if you cancel jobs. I don't know what the cut off is, but I know they will do it eventually.

I don't cancel jobs, this is a specific situation i'm concerned about. I have a good trackrecord there otherwise.
