    OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

I think I just found out a really serious mistake I have been making and probably where I have been going very, very wrong!!! :(:(:(

My guess is that even with my 3 seo hosting accounts Google can see exactly what I am doing with my blogs and linkwheels :(

If you are running linkwheels or blog farms or just networks of sites then I would suggest that you had better take a look at this too:

    http://seo.in-hd.com/bad-news-seo-hosting-myth-revealed/

I am going to start moving domains today because of what I just learned and my guess is that I am not the only one making a serious error in my seo hosting...

    Damn and blast it! Grrrrr!

    :why:

    Absolutely I agree.

My advice is use the fake name generator at www.fakenamegenerator.com to create a "person" to own the domain but make sure you always use a good email address (not gmail) so you keep control of the domain...

What a crock of crap -

People get hit for using the same anchor texts, same keywords and then blasting the shit out of it!

I run about 40 websites all linked up and they work well with each other, its promoted as a network because thats what it is, dont try and mask what you doing - you dont have to be sneaky about things

This SEO hosting is complete and utter bollox - its being blatent spamming, blatent link wheeling and not keeping things looking natural

If you run a network of sites then dont just change a link text on all of them at the same time, thats not natural do it over a short period of time

In BH, its always advised to use different whois details... some with private and some public,, it has to be mixed. I have blog network of 50 in different c class and I have 50 domains in 12 different names... and half of them are with private whois

So I read the article and wanted to check out the hosting company this guy talks about. When I click on the link I get a dns error... how ironic.

You obviously simply have not been slapped "YET" by Google then.

I run a big range of white hat sites and many of them got slapped hard recently for no reason. They provide high quality content for the user and are exactly on topic.

The only thing about them is that I use a lot of blogs to feed traffic into the main site and they are only linked by the dns issue.

I was top ten for nearly every phrase imaginable and now I am nowhere to be found...

When I searched for "related" strangely nearly all these slapped domains where listed as related... Go figure!

    That's white hat !

Imagine if you were doing black hat ?

As far as I am concerned the "network" of feeder blogs is the only possible reason for the slap so I am not going to take the risk.. I have to pay for hosting anyway so I may as well make it as innocuous as i possibly can in my opinion.

Google became an ICann registrar. Why would they do that? They don't sell domains...

    Why take the risk?

I'm not sure whether it's blackhat or not but uncle G doesn't seem to like it. Random linked LW is ok IMO but perfect linked ones are not good. This is just my opinion based on other people's experience including from this forum.

    Peace.

Take my word I have been slapped before and thats how and why I know how to stay under the radar - All of my sites stay where they are, I focus on some keywords then another handful, then do the same again! - OK when G has a move around I might move from top to 3, sometimes next page but thats why I work on longtails aswell

I have also done hardcore blackhat and not had any faults with my blackhat sites, no drops or anything - Only thing I have ever done is forget to put meta tags on a theme once which was my fault not the way I promoted

    Yes I bought a 15 ip pack

It it seems very good - easy to use and the server load is less than 1.

I bought from aseoserver.com and two others and they all have maqssive server loads of 28 or so !

I am getting refunds where the server load is high and keeping those that are low and I am going to get 5 or six different supplier packs to spread it even further...

    Don't intend getting slapped again!

    :)

The issue in fact I am finding that makes or breaks the deal is server load - where they are cheap the load is more often than not ridiculously high... No surprise there!

Thinking about it this will probably help anyone like me who wants to be really hidden so you don't waste time:

    ideastack.com

I bought their 20 pack and will get a refund as the load is way too high

    cPanel 11.25.0-R46156 - WHM 11.25.0 - X 3.9 CENTOS 5.5 i686
    * Load Averages: 19.52 20.17 20.16

    aseoserver.com

I bought their $47 pack of 10 ips which also is too slow but not as bad as the above :

    cPanel 11.25.0-R45750 - WHM 11.25.0 - X 3.9 CENTOS 5.5 i686 standard on seo3

    * Load Averages: 1.02 4.63 12.70

    skynethosting.net

I bought their $24 20 IP pack - wayyyy too slow ! Refund request coming up...

This one regularly averages 28 for goodness sake !

    * Load Averages: 19.52 28.17 20.16

the seohostgator.com one has no WHM as they have their own "GEO panel" but it is the best by far:

    Server Load 0.74 (4 cpus)
    Memory Used 21.6 %

At the moment I will keep seohostgator and probably aseoserver plus I will maybe increase my seohostgator pack to 40 or 50 ips then try find some others so I spread my risk/load over at least 4 suppliers and their networks...

Thanks for the good tip OP I just blew one seo host host out for slow support so your timing was good!

So far I like it - especially the big choice of class c ips

shame there is only one class C in the UK though but at least they have it as a choice!

    nice recommend.

I signed up with skynet too and I wish I hadn't!

You get no CP just individual Cpanels based on an IP address and then you have to individually ask support to create you a dns record for each domain!!!

I am now trying to get a refund after three days because they haven't even created the first one I asked for despite some idiot in their support who said he would escalate it!

The refund is looking dodgy too coz nobody responds :(

Don't touch skynet - they look cheap and they act worse than cheap!

seohostgator seems to be part of seo-host.com or one of their reseller... Go and check seo-host.com directly and you can see plans... I am using seohosting.com but after reading that article i think it only makes sense... I dunno if Google checks this or gives value in their algorithm but when you got option for covering your tracks then you should do plus they are costing very less... I could probably get 3 times more C class ip then what I am getting right now with seohosting.com...

It's a reseller for seo-host.com packages. Wouldn't be surprised if the blog owner is the owner of the 'seohostgator' as well; idc if he did include an 'affiliate' link--would be a slick move nonetheless. =P Seo-host is not bad; prefer hostgator idc if they are 'the same'--they don't seem to operate as smoothly as hostgator.

Hey all here's an update for you on this as since my original post I have signed up with several services and I am now a definite expert on the subject cos there are so many ways that they do it and not all of them are good...

I can absolutely say that the http://seohostgator.com route is the best regardless of all the other offers around as I have had a lot of problems with hosting (this multi IP and dns thing is actually quite mindbending!!!!) and throughout the whole exercise I have had the best support from them and they have the best (and this is really important!!!) user interface...

They are also the only ones who really hide the dns well and each time you add a new domain for example uses aq new dns set up - EVEN on the same IP !!!!

    I am a convert - I LOVE it!!! :)

    Hallelujah !!!!

I am soooo sold I don't mind telling you that ALL my 3,273 domains are now being migrated slowly to my seohostgator.com servers...

Just so you know and don't waste your time and money:

The worst I got involved with by far was skynet who are cheap but impossible to manage as it takes them 3 days to registger your dns and they give you just cpanel for each with no whm or group control...

    Nightmare!

You need to have a lot of patience also with the second best who were ideastack.com - no hiding your dns behind multiple names BUT only $10 for 10 Class cs so you are open to the G but the hosting is dirt cheap and at least they have whm...

They are awful on support tho so not for the faint hearted...

Anyway hope that helps some one out there who needs to hide their network properly - my guess is that's all of us?

Honestly start thinking about it cos the easiest thing in the world to put your whole plan on the map is easily tracked dns...

    :)
