So, I put an ad in CL to provide free websites to local businesses... Anyway, a guy calls me up and tells me he'd like a free site. He also says, that he is in need of a way to keep "bad stuff" about him from showing up on the internet.

Hmm.... so what do I do? Google his name of course! Wow, how much should I charge him to hide the fact that he is a home forclosure scammer....
Apparently, he settled out of court in the amount of $250k to repay back to people he *edit*alledgedly* scammed...

So, I'm have 2 thoughts now

    1. me and this guy will get along
    2. I'm gonna have to watch my back...

Fcuk him if his a scumbag scammer and these type of people would fcuk their grannies over for a few bucks.

you don't want to help him so he can start scamming online! because next time it could be someone you now or care about who gets scammed!

Also if people find out thats the type of person you work with that shit will rub off on you!

Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole

Why not scam the scammer! just a thought?

Whatever money is money, get it by all means. Being moral doesn't get you rich half the time.

What he did was wrong but you have nothing to do with that now.

i dont know what home forclosure is but if its ripping of normal working people i would make a website advertising all his details so that all the people he ripped of can find out where he lives. if he was ripping of big companies, shake his hand and make him a website :)

Thats a good and profitable niche... Charge him a few hundred bucks for every GOOD news about him you bring to the first page, and a few grand to get enough results to remove it from the first page completely.

I'd watch your back with this guy and "put his feet to the fire" on any deal. the information you have is leverage for the right time(gives you a ticket to say bye-bye).

Don't suppose that scam took place in Tallahassee, FL, did it?

If he's willing to scam the average joe while they're down on their luck like that, I'd stay far away from that loser.

Make other articles, or posts rank Higher than any bad press about the person.

The Idea is to make the news pages show up a few pages down in the search engines, so very few will find them.

Why would you provide FREE websites to local business.

Tell him that he will have to pay you extra for the Hidden Stuff you would do for him

Couple of years ago I did a site for someone who turned out to be a total scam artist.
Later found out the cops were compiling a case as part of a lawsuit.

Stay away from people like this. If you help, then you're an accessory. And you could get
    dragged into court.

I honestly wouldn't even make a guy like him a site for 2 reasons.

    1.) I hate thieves

2.) I wouldn't want my name ever being associated with him.

Make sure you don't register or host anything in his name, simple things like
that could get you in alot of trouble later. Why would you risk anything for
a guy like him and not even get paid? I Wouldn't do it anyway, best of luck man.
