Just logged on to play with market samurai a little this evening... and happened to notice that my 2 week old blog has just (this evening) been assigned a WHOPPING Page Rank of 1 !!!

How cool is that after just 2 weeks ?! (I honestly don't know)

But... what I do know is mi totally chuffed, even though I haven't had any ad sense clicks yet.... I feel uplifted ! :)

Here's hoping i start to get traffic soon! .... Thanks to BHW for the help so far :)

Congrats. Maybe Google has started to "smell" your backlinks.
 
Good Stuff - It's a great feeling when you see that page rank appear :) Now continue upwards and try and get to 2, 3 and 4 +

OMG, 2 weeks?? What's the average time a website get a PR raise? I have sites that are 3 month old and have ~50-100 backlinks and are still PR0. Was that an autoblog?

please tell us more about your blog what kind of promotion you used/was it normal blog or auto blog...more information please :D

Why do people get all excited over PR?
Does it mean more traffic?......NO
Does it mean more earnings.... NO

Forget the PR is there and focus on getting traffic.

I have PR5 blogs getting about 100 UV or so per day, and PR0 sites getting 1000+ UV's per day... Work that one out...

PR means nothing man, no matter wtf anyone tells you ok.

You wont earn from it if no one can find it, get promoting and forget about the damn PR ok

BTW, i am No1 on google for a descent searched keyword each month. Site is a PR2 btw, site at No2 is a PR6... As i have said, forget about PR

By the way, good luck with the site ok man, we all started somewhere..

Actually it does if you are planning on selling links or flipping the site ;)

AccuraX congrats on getting your first PR in two weeks that is really impressive.
 
It is important because it tells you that google shows thumbs up for your blog, now if you can turn it into something good is another question. More info would surely help people, but thats up to you i guess.
