The new guidelines includes these statements:



"Before the age of four, children should be given information about all body parts and their functions, as well as about pregnancy, birth and babies, providing them with the correct vocabulary. Already at this age (0-4) information should be given about ?enjoyment and pleasure when touching one?s own body, early childhood masturbation? (sic!) as well as about ?different types of love.? It should also help children to develop ?a positive attitude towards different lifestyles. "

I knew what sex was when I was 5. Even though I found it funny back then, my mother told me it's something "beautiful that I will learn to appreciate when I'm older".

I think sexual education is important. It doesn't mean you watch porn as a 4 year old (if that's what you're imagining). It simply means you get to know what that stuff is. That also includes that children learn where the borders are.

Do we now just rant with our biased opinion, or does someone actually has scientific evidence that it's harmful to children to educate them?

Do you guys even understand that such education is VITAL when it comes to the prevention of sexual harassment? Most young kids don't understand that it's wrong, because they have no education. As far as I know, early sex-ed is quite efficient in preventing many unwanted things, like early pregnancy and sexual abuse etc.

Heck, lying to our kids in the early stages is one of the most harmful things a parent can do to his kid. It doesn't matter if you're lying about the stork bringing kids or santa bringing them presents. Lying, even packaged nicely, is never good. It just teaches them that it's ok to be a hypocrite.

The only exciting thing about sex ed was when we were partitioned off between boys and girls, us guys were trying to sneak over to where the girls were learning about their stuff so we could look at diagrams of boobs and laugh at the names of their anatomy. Learning about how to check for ball cancer was intense and all the boys were paying attention because they scared the crap out of us with "this will save your life, do this or you might die."

Let us forget when we had Kings & Queens, children married in the single digits and were pregnant shortly after puberty. It wasn't weird at all because we didn't live very long. Now that we're drugged as fuck & living to 90+...we waste time while our hormones go crazy. Not agreeing with Pedos but our ancestors were.
