    Ever happened to you?

My few years old website's home page got deindexed on Google after I changed its content. (searching "site:domain.com" nothing appears).
Inner pages are still indexed (about me page, contact page etc.)

My content is unique and manual written.

I didn't make any backlink to this site.

I wonder does anyone experienced this already? It's pretty weird, and damn Google becomes arrogant as f*ck

In the past when I completely changed a website... new theme and new content... Google had to reprocess everything because the keywords I was ranking for were no longer the keywords I was targeting. It took a couple months for Google to crawl everything and re-rank the pages.

So if it has been less than 2 months I would say you probably need to give it more time.

But just wait though. log into Google Search Console and make sure you don't have crawl errors that need fixing or duplicate content issues, or indexing issues. Go through everything with a fine tooth comb... if there are issues now is the time to fix them.

Agreed here.. had a site that recently changed it's theme and the rankings went backwards for a month.. by end of Month 2, 60-90 days.. the rankings came back and THEN IMPROVED..

Sadly.. it's a waiting game.. we won't know!

Either wait for it to get back or resubmit manually
