The last I heard was the site was geared mainly towards musicians, and with J.T. now on board, I don't see it changing much from that crowd. What I do see it as is a place where musicians go to meet like-minded people.

So yeah, it will "rise from the ashes", but certainly not like before. That old Myspace is long gone.

I highly doubt it will be back, Myspace is where I made my first sort of moves as marketing on the internet. I still have all my accounts on there going, but like all bots that were made for it, mine doesn't work anymore.

Yes, there were a lot of musicians on myspace, but that was not because of myspace itself. It was because after everyone else left for facebook, twitter, and whatever else, that is all that were left. I see it like this:

1: Most likely people will be curious and want to go back to myspace (which long ago was a real fun place to be).

2: Worst case: Still alot of musicians on myspace..... O.k, monetize off of musicians then :)

Either way, they are gonna have alot of traffic just because of timberlake backing them, so it will be interesting to see and be involved in.

I doubt Justin Timberlake will revive MySpace, mainly because all the little monsters are hanging on something BHW is not familiar with yet (on a large scale at least):

I dumped about $1k on their shit traffic when they opened their ad platform testing offers that killed on fb and adcenter, and if anything social's gone wayyy downhill since '08, so they can go to hell.
