Though Google is again making it hard for us to rank our sites, efforts will still be continued. Well, I have been observing the pattern of Google Algo since last few years and I have observed the changes which are moving along just like you guys. We all have been following the journey that Google is setting forth but saying so, it is inevitable that none of us is aware of the exact solution. What we implement utters its result and we use those results to derive our individual perspective of Search engine optimization. Likewise, I have also rooted out my own path. Today I would like to share my way with the loveliest community I know in this internet world. What was it that used to work back in the old days? As you guys remember, old days were way much easier to rank any site. Let me go back to 2 years earlier. Good on-page optimization, posting regular contents with high keyword density, building huge quantity of backlinks were more than sufficient to literally rank any site but as time went by, Google Algo got smarter and smarter causing a chaos in the so-easy SEO world. These days, only the guys who have their own way derived from endless experiments are leading the industry. How the days have changed for us? After the release of Panda and Penguin, all of my sites lost their serp. I was left in the void of desperation which gave me a hard punch to continue my quest. Well, I experimented a lot and found my way to rank my sites. I ranked my sites in good serp for a long time staying under the radar of Big G. I started with link wheel and it showed results for a certain period of time but I had to shift to 3-Tier Pyramid in later course of time. 3-Tier Pyramid strategy worked like charm but due to extensive link building by my competitors, I was compelled to look for a better way. I decided to go the black way if white turns out to be vague. I did multiple 301 redirects to few of my money sites that were full of high quality contents. I conducted different experiments and what I came up with was really astonishing for me. The sites with 301 redirects ranked better than those of other backlinking strategy and the sites did not churn until 2 days back, when Google pushed the sites to Page 3 and Page 4. The redirected domains did not have any PR but they were old and had backlinks from some authority sites including Wikipedia. According to me, 301 is a way to merge one domain upon another and the backlinks gets added to the new domain. Conclusion: No one is certain in SEO world about the exact solution as I told before and speaking so; I hope that I will be able to find the better way shortly. I'm again lost in the void of desperation and I want you guys to share a small part of your experiments so that I can see a ray of hope and if lucky, I might be able to find some hidden gems. I feel glad to be a part of this amazing community! Thank you all!
