Oh my god paypal are the most useless company in the world

    Paypal are so useless at customer support it is UNREAL.

    I have had a case open with them since April 2016 because they wanted more information from me. They wanted ID as well as details of directors in my business. I provided EVERYTHING in APRIL and it took them until 22nd NOVEMBER 2016 to finally send me an email saying they have completed all of their verification steps and my account has been restored to fully functioning order.

    Now I log in and I have ANOTHER FUCKING NOTICE that they need more information from me - copies of bank statements.

    This was on 23rd NOVEMBER and I provided copies of statements on the same day.

    Now it is 9th DECEMBER and I have still not had any confirmation from them that they got the documents and I still have a warning when i log in that my account is going to be limited.

    The worst part is whenever I have contacting them during this process - numerous times - they simply cant help - their support staff literally have no more access than I do. They have no idea what documents I have sent in, they have no idea why the documents are required and they have no idea when the documents will be reviewed and the case resolved.

    Just to highlight their lack of power even more, my trading name is still listed as a company that no longer exists, I have asked several of their staff members over the phone to change this or remove it and NONE OF THEM CAN DO IT.

    PAYPAL ARE AN ABSOLUTE FUCKING JOKE.

    Bro, I bought a ton of products like 6 months ago 20+ 1 transaction each since they were all different, however the seller just ran off from thousands of people (not BHW) so everyone asked a refund. 1 month after I finally got the refund of the 20+ transactions and they permanently LOCKED my account. Don't allow me to send or receive anymore payments with this credit card because "I refunded too many payments".

    Are you kidding me lol.

    Yep, I remember you addressing this issue in one of my thread as well. I have to agree on that, my friend whose helping me has a similar issue and every single time they end up sending "Need more information" -_-
    I don't understand that , why don't they hire someone sensible and knows how the digital stuff work instead of us explaining them everything

    Hmm.. thats sad man. Me myself never had any issue with them. They needed stuff, I send the stuff, the unlocked everything :)

    Paypal can give you some serious headaches but somehow people are still using them as primary payment method - online method-.

    At least their support is better than Facebook's "support" system.

    While I've never had any issues with PayPal, I usually avoid keeping more money than I have to in my PayPal account. I've heard too many horror stories...

    I've had to verify my paypal 2 times this year as well because they thought i was "money laundering" and i had to verify it with ID 2 times and one time even with additional bank account details.
    It took them a good week to get everything verified, but damn.. 8 Months waiting for just a verification? That's sick

    But can't you tell the Paypal support that they forward it to the guys that handle the verification thing, so they maybe can speed it up?

    I always keep 2 gaypal accounts one for payments only and one for receiving only to avoid issue. F**K Gaypal.

    If you call the limitations team they could have escalated it earlier.

    I just went through that as well and they decided to close my account, after 3 years of being on there -what a joke

    I just feel like it happens the same with a lot of companies - if you have say 20,000 customers, you have 100 support staff or something and it works well - average 200 customers per support staff member and everything is ok, customer support is good. But these companies scale up to like millions of customers and it feels like they dont scale up their support adequately - I am guessing their customers per support staff will rapidly increase and thus their customer service plummets.

    Without support everything is left up to the computer systems and when they are not sufficient then the customer is essentially fucked. Its a bit like the REAL version of those sci-fi movies where computers become more clever than humans and take over the world - of course the reality isn't anywhere near as glamorous as that though, its just that we dump machines to do the work and now they are in control by default.

    They limited my account since 2-4 weeks ago, when I call paypal, literally they tell me that this happens because I live in Venezuela.

    I myself got some money in Paypal and no reason it got locked message, wtf? And more funny, there no even no stuff in China zone, it never reply you!
