    Everything! but Mom first.
    Inside the Matrix
I have been working on a flyer for a few days now. First I was going to just do a regular one like Boosey did but I also had this website that I wanted to make into a community website for my area. So I changed it into the newsletter version that I had mentioned earlier in another post and made this:

Didn't cost me anything but a lot of time and i was able to get 3 companies to jump on board at $25/M for a display ad. (only 2 are on here, the 3rd called in too late for this "issue")

So I am $75 ahead already. Printing them myself as I already have 10,000 sheets of paper and a lot of ink. :)

The goal now is to get leads ( the semi-blackhat part of it) with the CPA ads and a hidden "girl for guy" ad in the classified section. But also to help the community with the price list - since so many are broke and on food stamp n such- and provide some hopefully interesting info.

I am hoping the content and the price list allows for longer retention of the flyer as well as less objections/rejections on distribution since it's a "community" newsletter not a so-called sales ad/flyer.

I will also be able to leave some at the nearby food banks for passing out (they already said yes) and might get to the unemployment office to pass them out there too.

Once my site is finished being filled with "stuff" I will send people to THAT as well.

"For the extended price list vist site.com"
"More weight loss tips on our new community site! ->site.com" etc.

I don't expect a HUGE response, but i think I should be able to get at least enough to make it worth my time to print it out n put it out. Doesn't hurt that i sold a few spots either. :D

Anyways, let me know your thoughts. Anyone have experience doing this before? and don't be tooooo harsh.

( I know this is an old post )

I am very interested to hear how this went for you. Are you doing monthly "Newsletters".

Both images are down, if you still have them, I would be interested in seeing them.

Did it work out worth your time?
Did you get much of a response from?

If you can let me know how it went, and if you still have the stats lying around, I would love to see them.
