After almost six months of development and testing, Poll Factory 2.0 is officially available for purchase!

I really hate sales letters, so i'm not going to write one here. This is really just an overview of changes from Poll Factory 1.0. If you dont know what poll factory 1.0 is, well, i'm sure you'll catch on while reading.

    Live Demo
If you rather skip the boring text, just try the admin panel out for yourself. A demo is worth a thousand words, right?

    http://www.thepollfactory.com/demo

    (Firefox or Chrome ONLY)

Create "Poll" style landing pages in minutes
The main objective of Poll Factory is to allow you to create poll style landing pages in as little time as possible. The more polls you can create, the more testing you can do, and the more testing you can do, the more money you can make.

    Integrated RSS Feeds
Keep your content fresh to help with quality score. Poll Factory automatically pulls the latest RSS feeds from the three major search engines and displays them, based on the keyword you choose, right on your poll. You can also enter a custom RSS URL

    Image uploading and resizing
Upload images for your polls straight from your computer. If the images are too big, they will automatically be resized so that the poll layout is not ruined. You can display either a "single" image for polls like "Yes or No", or you can display one image per vote button for polls like "This or That".

    Duplicate Polls in seconds
Poll factory lets you "copy" your existing polls to use as a foundation for new ones. This is usefull when you want to split test a lot of minor changes. You dont have to completely recreate the poll.

    Show Voting results
Poll Factory 2.0 allows you to keep track of the voting results and display them to your users before they are taken to their offer. This is helpful to make your polls sites seem a little more "legit", and to give the user the feeling that their vote is actually being counted.

    Offer Rotation
Poll Factory implements a revolutionary offer rotator (patent pending?). Not only can you rotate up to 10 offers per poll, but you can assign specific vote buttons a specific group of offers to rotate. You can also dynamically insert a description on the offer right into your poll text. So if you have a line in your poll that says "Enter your email for _ _ _ _ _ ", and you are rotating three offers, you can have it dynamically display:

"Enter your email for a Free iphone"
"Enter your email for 15 Complementary ringtones"
"Enter your email for a free Plasma Screen TV"

Based on which offer is currently in rotation.

    Dynamic Keyword Insertion
When you pass a keyword to your poll, you can dynamically insert it into your polls text (helps with relevancy). The mechanism is the same as Google Adwords, using the {keyword} token.

    Custom Themes
One of the biggest complaints about Poll Factory 1.0 was the default theme, and lack of custom theme support. That has all changed in 2.0. You can now easily create and install your own themes, and even code NEW functionality into them!

    Real Time Stats
While not a full featured tracking system (intentionally), poll factory allows you to quickly see which of your polls is performing best. It will show you how many views your poll has "today", how many "total views" and also show your Click Through Rate (so you can see what percentage of people are actually "placing votes")

    System Requirements
Firefox Web browser 2.0+ (only for admin panel, polls display in all browsers)
UNIX Web hosting (should work on Windows hosting, but is not supported yet)
PHP GD Image library (i've never seen a host without this)

    Existing Users
I certainly haven't forgot about existing users, i'm just trying to find the best way to distribute the new version securely. You will probably see an email soon with information on how to get the (free) upgrade. If you can't wait until then, simply send an email to eric@thepollfactory.com with your paypal receipt.

    Price
The price for Poll Factory 2.0 is usually $100.00. However, BHW members can pick it up for $75.00 using this special link:

Just purchased this software and it works great. It is extremely easy to set up polls, especially if you don't have a lot of coding background.

this by far is one of the coolest programs on here, i could think of so many damn money making polls, and this just makes it 10x easier to implement. Well worth the price, and if your in need of some quick cash and have a little to spend, this is the way to go. his book also explains alot as well. I give it 10/10 especially for the newer bhers.

    Hi Poll Factory:

Can I use this software to create a small comparison poll box such as Pepsi or Coke on my blog or in the middle of a page surrounded by content? Also can it be used on a Squidoo or Hubpage lens? Or does it only create a script that must be installed alone on a index.php page?

Thank you so much for your help.

Right now there is no "built in" support for this kind of thing. But, I've already started working on a wordpress plugin for it.

If you're decent with PHP, all you would have to do is make a database connection and you could pull the info into ANY page you wanted..Though i'm not sure Squidoo or Hubpages lets you put any PHP, I haven't used them in quite some time now.

Hi Eric, I just purchased this and tried installing. I'm getting an error 100 for setting up the database. Any ideas what that is? Thanks
