# of videos per channel? What is good?

I'm having some success with a highly spun method on Youtube. I'm wondering how many videos in total should be put on one account? How many are safe to upload a day?

There is no obvious spam like http links in the description. But the content is coming from funny moments in movie and TV shows among other things so there is a risk of copyright. But the clips are short and arguably fair use if I chose to fight that.

I was planning on 5-10 videos per day with 100-200 per channel/account. Is this safe or should I cut it off around 50? If I get one strike I plan on ceasing all use of the channel immediately and moving to a new account.

I want something for the long haul here that builds. Not just short term earnings.

    Thanks.

Sort of a bump here. I am interested in hearing input from people who are putting up mostly legit videos and not things like keygen and fake file stuff or blatant spam.

Like I said there is a copyright risk but so far I have up about 60 videos and in a week I have 40,000 views and 100 subscribers all REAL and with no artificial view, like, favorites or comment inflation. It's purely organic and natural. I'm just putting up content that people want to see. I think that's pretty good for starting from zero a week ago and I plan to add, rinse, and repeat it. :)

I notice another channel which does stuff sort of like I do has about 200 videos. BUT he seems to leave off most identifying marks on where the content came from so would think minus the built in content fingerprinting it's harder for content owners to give him a strike.

I have a channel with 500 vids. All vids are different, inluding copyright! I created it 8 months ago and was uploading 20 vids a day and everything is still good.

It depends how good your accounts are going. These days I can put 3 videos per account and they stilll get banned.

    Well my experience is this.
I used to do youtube vids and had some accounts with 100 + vids and got well over a million views with 1000 + subscribers.
All went great for a while and then i lost them all in the span of one week..

You should keep in mind youtube community sucks. Got my 2 video's flagged after months and got the account blocked for 2 weeks adn gues what .. within those 2 weeks got another flag and BAM channel was gone.

The risk with this is once you channel get's banned you cant acces your vids anymore so youu have to keep them stred on your pc.
Also when the channel get's banned the video's in it need to be changed a bit. shortn them by 2 or 3 secs from beginning and end because youtube will know the same vids are beeing uploaded and there is a risk of getting a ban again.

Right now im only putting up 2 vids max per channel. the warnings will go away in 6 months so you will have the channels for later use and dont have to create them again and keep subscribers in it.

    Thats just my experience :)

    Good luck

5-10 per 1 account is ok. Don't put yourself in a risk with more

Well so far I'm okay with 60 but I already got one BS flag for nudity when the video had no nudity. 5-10 would be smart but the problem is there is a balance. The more videos you put up the more chance the videos will snowball and rank higher with lots of subscribers. It's also a pain to make many channels.

So far I'm looking at 40-50 per channel but I may be being foolish like many of you suggest and I might end up taking it down to 10-20 videos. :) I also see a method to be able to post copyrighted videos without fear of copyright strikes. I'm not sure I should share that here but it's common sense really.

I think bigger channels with 100s of videos will help you in the long run as long as there niche related

The question you should ask yourself is how many videos are you willing to lose with if the account gets banned? At the end of the day accounts with 1 video can be banned if you aren't careful.

I wish I could. In a couple niches I have over a 1000 videos I could put on one account and easily get 5,,000 subscribers. But it's so risky. 3 copyrights or TOS violations and the account is gone with all that work.
