    Hi there,
I run some gigs on fiverr one of which is banner design. So i gt this email today with a request from a guy who is apparently pissed off at some soccer team that he claims used him.

So he wants me to take the team's logo and put a red circle around it with a line that crosses over the face of the logo. He says he wants to use this to warn other people that the team is scammer who use players for their own benefit.

I can easily do this but am not sure what may happen if the team pursues these guys for defaming them or something. would it backfire? should i risk being sued for helping these guys out for a measly $4 bucks?

    your thoughts are welcome...

BTW the $4 do add up, i am buying Scrapebox tonight using proceeds from Fivver.. made over $300 so far since start of year (not great but its something that pays for my hosting and now Scrapebox) :)

Yea, you should be fine. There are so many similar images saying "No to..." and I haven't heard of anyone getting sued because of this.

I would think it's up to the buyer how they use the image, once you sell it to them they do what they want with it.

As above, can't see a problem and it really is up to the buyer what he does with it.
Package the file with a .txt disclaimer.
"I just did the job, nothing to do with me how he uses it!!!"
"By accepting this file you agree that if you use this image you do so of your own free will..." kind of thing.

I would reject the gig in a heartbeat - it sounds like you're counting on these money, so don't put your fiverr account at risk. Be polite, tel him that you're not comfortable doing this and reject the gig, so he can get a refund.
