Hey there BHW, long time lurker of the forums. Thanks to you guys I made some small successes with teespring and Instagram back in the day

I've decided to go for a bigger project and start a dropshipping store, and I have it all set up including domain, logo, products, etc. And I'm ready to launch my ad campaigns, but there's one detail I overlooked

How much money do I need to fund dropshipping?

Assuming I sell 100 products, and each product costs me 5 dollars, do I need to have the 500 dollars of my own cash to purchase these products, or does oberlo use the money they spent for this automatically?

The information is likely out there, I just have yet to find it, thank you greatly BHW and I hope to see some success on this journey!

1. You need the money for the shopify shop-apps-domain and for the ads. Do you have any experience in buying ads? because you could burn even 2k a day, there isn't a number, put all money you can and see how it works because it's not easy as you think
2.oberlo is just a tool to help you order. If you receive 100 order on paypal, you need to have a credit card to purchase from aliexpress ( now some seller accepts paypal too )

I am familiar with running ad campaigns and keeping an ad campaign budget, it's the aspect of purchasing for this store that had me curious. So if I understand you correctly I do need a credit card to purchase these products on my own expense?

Assuming the seller accepts PayPal, can I use the funds I get directly from the purchase, or is this not a do-able concept?

If a seller accepts paypal you can use the money you made to fund the seller, if not you need to pay with your own card
