    Hey guys,
Ever since nzbmatrix got shut down I have been thinking about creating an NZB index website. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Is it profitable? Offshore hosting would obviously be the way to go. Possibly making it invite only and you need to donate a few dollars to get in, and it would have exclusive content and such. A Torrent website could also be created. Maybe a website that allows you to download something through Usenet or Bittorrent would be good?

Throwing some ideas out there. Any ideas or comments appreciated.

If you create another NZBMatrix type site, count me in. Just choose your hosting wisely! There are a lot of troubles with hosting providers + the payment processor of the website that gets spun up these days. Seems like RIAA and others are going around putting pressure on payment processors like PP and others. Maybe if you keep it private? Hmm.

Well, in any case, count me in if you make one. I'll be user #1. I loved NZBMatrix and I think I cried a little the day they shut their doors.

I think nzbs are still alive and kicking sure there have been take downs but the world of nzbs is changing with the times just slow to take up I suppose
I won't go into details but there have been ways implemented to keep the nzbs from being taken down. I own and run a nzb forum and we have seen changes with the nzbs

I download a lot of nzbs and I think they are here for a while, it also depends on who you use to grab the files, AW takes them down faster than others located in the Netherlands. And as the previous poster new methods are keeping them up longer.
