what is the limit, and recommended number?
I've read it's 10 per IP.. but I'm not really sure and I wouldn't do the max anyways..
Anyone else know?
i read about 100 accounts per ip. also, i think that twitter doesn´t see your ip, they search your cookies.
You asking for the tweeting or creating accounts???
hmm limit it to 1-10 per ip...should be a problem with that
yea is 10 per ip
I think is 7.....looll............Where do you get these exact answers???
i am asking for tweeting
probably account creation = 10 accts per IP per day?
When i make more then 2 accounts per IP these days it gets suspended in a day or two even after if they are email confirmed. But when 1 or 2 accounts are made and confirmed from 1 IP, they stay alive.
its not anything, as long as they "think" it "might" be a spam site they just suspend it, and this can be triggered by a number of things, ip address, cookies, using/promoting the same urls through different accounts, aggresive promotion, i.e. following too many people at once, dropping people in bulk,
any of these and many more can trigger an alarm, and if they "think" it "might" be spam they just suspend the acconts, so twitter is not worth doing anyway when you can lose everything just because someone gets paranoid.
Well if you are creating accounts then I would advice - 1 Account per IP.
These days they are monitoring a lot of things and have a very strong strong spam control system working.
Here are few tips -
1. They track the site you are linking in your profile BIO. So rotate the bio url for each new account.
2. If you are uploading bio images, they track the size of that and like myspace used to do, they go ahead and ban all accounts with that image , size and footprint. So dont use same images for creating multiple accounts.
3. They track the urls you are tweeting, if you repeat same urls in multiple tweets , all accounts tweeting that particular url gets banned.
These are just a few, there are several such checks going on these days, Iam researching them lately , I will post a separate thread shortly on my investigations and probably the tool coders can fight them.
Iam more of a white hat guy w.r.t twitter and I do - Engage, Build Trust and Sell Method.
See the sigh
So .. is it 1 account/ip or is it 10? Unlimited?
Unlimited = One ip but millions of email addresses?
best is 1 account per IP. but try not exceeding more than 3 accounts per ip
I'd limit to 3 per proxy just to be safe.
Separate names with a comma.
