Tweet Adder is coming to an end as they've had to scrap the automating of follow / unfollowing, so looking for an alternative.

    Apart from:
TwtDominator - doesn't even search for users, nor does it give the option of unfollowing people after X days of not following you back

What I think the majority need is software that does this:

    1) Searches for usernames based on a keyword
    2) Follows users every X seconds AND only Y users per day
    3) Unfollows users if the user hasn't followed back within X days

Bonus: Searches for new users when the 'users to follow' list is empty.

I've not seen any software anywhere near as good as Tweet Adder for this task, so hoping there's something out there I've not yet checked out.

As far as I'm aware it's no longer called that, it's called 'Tweet Marketing Robot' - unless I'm mistaken. It looks similar to how Tweet Attacks works, but only 1 window / function can be ran at once. So you can't do a bunch of following in 1 window whilst unfollowing in Window 2. That's what I can gather from a bit of reading up.

Be nice to hear what others have to say though.

You can auto-follow with multiple accounts though, right? $300 price tag is also steep but you gotta do what you gotta do

Yep. Version 3 will stop functioning from 24th May and you can test version 4 now - they're claiming it's "exciting news about version 4", but they're trying to cover up the fact that the software is next to useless without auto following / unfollowing.

That's surely why 99% shelled out money for the software!

TweetDemon is the best alternative. Well worth every cent I paid for it. Good support and I have made my money back ten fold and I am still rocking wait and reply.

Any one have any ideas for Mac Users? Tweet Adder was hands down the secret weapon that delivered incredible results. Even a macro that automates the following/unfollowing?

Thank god 3/0 doesn't go offline until May 24th!

Yeah, so nice of them to give us one month to find an alternative (sarcasm) when they could have told us months ago. TweetAdder should have given us a warning long ago that there wasn't going to be autofollow autounfollow. I am a bit PO'd that they were kind of hiding the fact that those two features were going to die. They wanted to continue to make sales for tweetadder3 even though it's changing.

I would like to try tweetdemon, but I am pretty sure twitter will just force that to stop working as well, so someone needs to make a private version with the great follow unfollow features that Tweetadder had.

Yes- I'd pay a few hundred bucks basically for a version of Tweet Adder 3.0 that works past June! My thing is I'm a Mac so a lot of the options out there are for PC and I can't use

Why don't you just use a VPS? Should use one anyway, and they tend to be in PC format

Is the VPS option nullified by the lack of automation of 4.0? I thought the whole point of using TweetAdder off a VPS is so it can run day and night, without monitoring.

I don't know I don't use tweetadder but I do use a VPS for otherthings. Yes the point is it can run day and night, but also if you have a different operating system to the one you need well it can be used for that. amongst other things e.g. torrent downloads etc (if you have a bad dl speed) and so on

Can anyone think of or develop a script that will automate what the Twitter police wont let them do?

Oh man only just found out this and am seriously pissed off with this, just as I have upgraded my licences aswell.

Very sneaky way of doing business if you ask me.

anyway what are the best alternatives? Is tweet attacks really worth the money? and do they have automated following / unfollowing functions? this is the main reason I used Tweet Adder.

They held back all the information about the update to the very last moment so users still bought licenses... cheap

As far as I'm aware that doesn't support Private Proxies. If that's the case, it's far from a good tool to use, as public proxies don't work well with Twitter as IPs get banned.

OMG! Is it Twitter who is forcing them to remove these features?

Alternatives...I have TweetDemon also but almost did not use it - too complicated compare to Tadder. The good thing about Tdemon - the only web based app, doesn't use Twitter Api. There is Twidium soft with all TA functions I think, full license should be something $200+ Looks like we have to check it
