Now that .NET is open-source, can we expect to see SEO/IM apps for Mac/Linux?

.NET is available under MIT license now.
Now I don't know the exact technical details of porting a .net app from windows to osx or linux, but should we start expecting apps for them?

I think it would be great, especially because our SEO apps could use the better networking capabilities of Linux.

Maybe. You could build apps for years on Mac and Linux using C# with Mono. But I assume Microsoft's implementation will end up better than Mono.

Instead of waiting for .Net bots getting ported better try java bots as they perform well on any platform specially linux and mac.
