I own about 10 niche sites which promote 10 different clickb@nk products. Over the last few weeks I have noticed sales have completely slowdown. I don't know if it's their tracking or they are outright stealing from me. I have read posts over at the other forum where people are having similar experiences too.

So my question is, what should I do about it? Should I just switch to selling physical products? and if so... which network do you guys use? (i'm quite new to selling physical stuff)

This is driving me nuts just checking my stat every morning and nothing shows up. I have a few sites which have the CB product NAMES in my domain names... I guess those are useless now. :(

If I were you, I would try promoting cpa free trials. There's alot of free trials that can be very similar to some gaybank products.

I did notice my sales decrease as well. I stopped promoting them ages ago when they started shaving sales of that nature.....

"gaybank"? Don't go there, CB rocks :)....anyway there's *alot* of alternatives, I read in another post about click2sell? Hmm, good luck! Have you tried PayDotCom? (I wouldn't recommend PDC since you're feeding Filsaime.) but you have to feed yourself first I guess.

i have actually heard A LOT of people talking about strange bugs/glithes with Cb. One person actually received $500 in CB sales for a product he's never promoted and a lot of people also had their sales completely fall.

There's also been cases of people's account stating 2007 on the date????

If anything I would attribute any failures to the economic spike, but not technical issues. It doesn't take me long to get angry at prominent million-dollar companies that can't hold their heads up in software development, reminds me of Microsoft that's why it's extra infuriating, but my experiences with CB has been smooth so far *knocks on wood*. How can you possibly fail in software development with millions on your side?

think its totally to do with the recession except not in the way you mean
I recon they are ripping off affiliates left right and centre to cover their losses
you will note a drop in impressions as well as sales if its just the recession affecting your sales

too many people are complaining about this from too many affiliate companies IMO they are all ripping us

So whos having good success with other companies ie not seeing dropsin affiliate sales?

I know my clickbank dates were wrong for a while. The date was supposed to be current but was showing as months ago. You kow uder your account where it shows the sales? that bit.

No idea why, it was widespread and it fixed itself but at that time was when numerous post on warriorforum popped up(and they still do) saying "is anyone else having problems with CB?"

Man, why the fka m i up at 3am in the morning on christmas EVE!!!!!

I would recommend Paydotcom as I sell to digital products on there (marketplace) and it brings a lot of traffic (and sales too)

LOL well I've been doing well with CB, yep it obviously has some issues but it's better than PDT and others, you could try CPA's as well

Thanks for all the advice guys.

I was totally paranoid for the past 2 weeks until i saw the posts here and on the WF. I know the economic is bad. but other than that, there are things that are completely off. Like suddenly in a day I would get 50% more impressions and clicks but no sales? This has never happened before. And I also made my friends to buy some products via my hoplink. and nothing shows up in my stat.

I guess I'll take a look at click2sell(never been there) and paydotcom (it's owned by filsamine? )

I have been seeing a lot of posts about CB having tons of problems. I won't say that I have disagree, but I have not(knock on wood) seen any major problems as far as technical issues with my account. Some products' sales have gone down a bit. Maybe it's the economy, maybe it's holidays, or maybe a combination of both.

But overall, I still make a steady income with CB. I don't mess around with niches that are too small right now. I hit all the hot ones like making money online, entrepreneurship, forex, weight loss, etc...

I know I have been told just like most everyone else to avoid niches with high gravity. If a product has high gravity, it's selling. Affiliates are making money. That's where I want to be.

With that said, CPA is a great place to be as well. PDT. Click2Sell, Linkshare, CJ...these are all other opportunities to expand your income even further.

The best advice I can give is don't limit yourself. Spreading your income across various platforms will leave you much better off just in case one area starts to have problems.

Booya! Couldn't have put it any better..

People are worried about money right now - so they are searching more than ever for ways to make money, save money, invest money... Hit them hard, help some people out, and pay your bills...

Don't focus so much on why things suck sometimes.. unless you're loosing $100's per day out of the blue... roll with the punches, and keep on keeping on...
