I've writtem my story several times on this forum. I was in top 3 for 20-30 phrases or so. Before (!) the Penguin algo update I got a G. warning on unnatural linking techniques for being a BMR member.

Now, since the website doesn't seem to be recovering at all (it's been 1,5 months since I got the warning), I'm seriously thinking about 301'ing it. I have a couple of questions though:

    1. Do I redirect the website or do I wait? My website was my brand and it was a proper site on an old domain with good BLs.
    2. Can I redirect my website and remove the 301 IF the penalty has been passed? Is there any danger there? Might my website get de-indexed for that or something if I remove the redirection after a while?
    3. Once I've done the 301, which website do I build BLs too? The new one or both?

    Thanks for any advice!

Anyone? Can I succesfully remove a 301 without harming my redirected site?
