Ok, the cat is out of the bag... I'm going to give you my basic blueprint for success.

If it is weak in your opinion that is fine but I know this works.

    First thing to remember is:

    "Nothing Succeeds Like Success"

What does that even mean you ask?

It means a lot of things but I'll cover a couple and hopefully some of the smarter folks come in here and share as well.

A successful businessman (Imer) brings into his circle successful people so they can all feed off of their ideas, projects an vision.

Successful people are not always businessmen/businesswomen that are the "face" of a business.

One guy that is part of a project we are sharing said to me "You're successful but I am only a Coder".

My response was "You are not just a coder, you are a successful coder that has produced some very good programs and align myself with you is good business as successful people align themselves with other successful people".

A writer said "BTB, I am only a writer and not a successful businessman, it makes no sense for you to do a JV with me".

Good writers are not a dime a dozen and one that can produce quality unique content is a gem if not a gold mine and I told him so.

The deal is very simple... set yourself up with others that are successful and you can all feed off of the positive attributes each offers and make each other successful.

I could rattle off the IM businesses that I own and post numbers as to their success but I would rather rattle off the names of the folks that have made me successful due to them being successful people.

I know I'll leave out a guy or 2 and for that I apologize but the below and others are successful people and deserve recognition for their skill sets.

    accelerator_dd
babypar (who the heck is that?)
    Wannabie
    Tnphoneman
    Scripteen
    BK017
    phluid
    loopline
    andrewg13
    Ramsweb

I know I left off others but please get the general thought process... surround yourself with successful people, tie into their skill sets, offer something of value to them so they have a reason to reciprocate and you'll end up with a level of success that is above your own skill set.

Remember - Nothing Succeeds Like Success.

Now that's really nice. I agree with you that a writer who is capable of writing unique content without any flaw is a gem if not a goldmine. Over a period of time I have realized that there are many writers out there offering their services but it's rare to find a highly dedicated writer who gives his heart out for the task assigned. I liked the underlining of this post: Nothing Succeeds like Success.

nice, couldn't agree more on the point of surrounding yourself with successful people

I meant to put you on that list as not only is that site we are working on going to go places your quality writing has done wonders for my personal sites.

And you are one of them, Alan.

I don't know who rich dad is but that is real wise... I have always tried to do that when building a business.

This is so true, problem is finding those people often we are let down, family and friends can turn out worse than strangers we just met and strangers can try to rob us blind.

Once you have the right people you must do as you have done here, thank them and appreciate them and remember they are human as you are.
