So I have a big client working on ranking for competitive terms related to disability products. He already has some good quality links from foundations and whatever. All of his competitors also have similar links also including eCommerce links. My strategy was to start some satellite blogs and websites to create tons of related content for and link back. Also submit to press releases, link directories social media sites etc.

Anyone have some suggestions for links on these types of sites that make big improvements in serps?

My question is why you took on a big client without fully understanding how to implement an seo campaign???

well this is a existing big seo client that got "transferred to me".

I know how to initiate an SEO campaign, this is just a different type of client I am used too. More competitive, more white hat necessary etc. Like I said I already plan on doing a few different things, but I need more link aggressive rank increasing links.

    I already am using.
    Link directories / Sliq
Satellite websites we created / kw etc
    Web 2.0 Properties
    Press releases
    Article Directories
    Book marks
    Social Media
Contacting relevant sites about adding links for us etc. But really, we need a big boost in serps, something more powerful that still appears "whitehat". We also already run a successful PPC campaign for the company.

Well, I don't think anyone including myself is going to tell you how to do high end corporate seo. It's very hard and there's a lot of money in the secrets behind it. However, if you're looking for hired help my door is always open. So feel free to shoot me a PM. ;)

PS: Careful about "Contacting relevant sites about adding links for us etc. " if you spam/email the wrong person it can hurt your reputation.

Agree here. Big corporations/foundations don't contact each other asking for link exchanges. I suggest doing too many satellite sites that are a mix of domains you own and subdomains on web 2.0 blogs. They don't have to be all about the exact niche but can also have some related to other niches like "self improvement" is related to disability too. Make sure these satellite sites have pages without external links so they don't look like a link farm.

This is what I was thinking as the primary plan. We bought 2 domains on diff IP's, to start large blogs with. We are using a resource widget for a link back, simply included 2-5 links being authority sites and our own to look legitimate.
