Ever since the recent events in terms of advertising on YouTube, my income has basically flat lined. I have never monetized my channel outside of just adsense ads. I'm not sure where to start, should I look in to some affiliate programs? My audience is not really a "buying" audience. I can pull decent views, (around 25k - 100k/ video) but am not really sure how to make money on those views.

    Agreed with that ^

You can consider paid promotions for individuals and companies rather than the classic affiliate marketing stuff.

Also, start pushing a long-term strategy. Build up other social profiles using the traffic you get from Youtube + create a community. It's always good to diversify your portfolio as much as possible so that one platform doesn't have that much power over you.

Affiliate websites, link your website in your videos, sponsorships, promote a product, and way more.

Try famebit for looking for sponsorships, you get a decent amount of views so that will be worthwhile to some.

Also if your niche isn't good for selling anything try patreon

"win free iphone" > ogads locker > "sorry not available" > try again "sorry, but I added you to the list for a 5$ coupon for amazon".

yeah.I got some nice deals in the past for that. If you stop being "cheap", you get great customers.
