I give credit to "whattsup" for giving me this method.

I added my own twist to this so now I will share it back.

I opened a store at zazzle and began to create my own t'shirt designs, but I took it a step further and bought a domain as well.
This way I had complete control over all the web layout, etc.
they give you a method and the tools to create the site but I just did it myself.

I pretty much been spamming twitter with various of my designs, and its only been two weeks or so and I have 15 sales.

    "hints"
1.) you get to set your own royalties and I set mine so that the prices were just under $20,
its a known fact $19.99 will sell more items then $20 will.
2.) pay attention to trending stuffs and create your designs around them, then spam them back.
3.) funny & unique work well.
3.) try to keep it unisexual and if possible G rated (those are selling the best)

Good luck, its very simple to do, and they have tons of other products as well.
I am going to start on calendars eventually, however I only have 22 t-shirt designs and wish to get at least 50 before moving on.

Wouldn't it be something if you or me came up with the next viral novelty saying?

I still remember the day "shit happens" became a every day quote.

Damn, that sounds awesome. How do you stop Twitter from filtering your tweets? They only let you reply to people so many times before they think you're a spammer.

If I was better at doing graphic designs this would definitely work for me, but sounds like a solid method for anyone who has good artistic talent :)

Forgive my choice of words, I don't actually spam them, I just normally reply.
However I began using pinterist, never realized just how easy it is to create boards BTW, if you didn't know, you install a toolbar "pin" and when you visit anywhere, to pin every pic on the page your on is childs play.
I pinned just about every single one of my designs, and it allows you post to twitter and well as FB.

My account is very old and all my followers are real, it was made naturally, perhaps that goes a long way in twitters eyes.
I have also set up my bot to auto promo ppls as well as post jokes and my fav "what we love about women" gets lots of RT and replies, and never had a problem with the account.
I think if your naturally posting, your ok, I have hit my tweet limits tons of times too.

Honestly, I am not that good in the area, I always loved to draw, but I suck at it.
Most of my designs are simple things, and most of them I have taken off the web and edited in Corol Paintshop, to make them unique.
Its not really about the quality of the graphics as much as it is about the quoting and joke behind the design that matters.

For example "shit happens" works by itself right?
You could even put a simple drawing of anything related to it (a stick figure kid falling off his bike)
    And it would work.

I dont use "shit happens" not even sure if you could, it was just an example.
Speaking of copyright issues, I might just call them to see just what is allowed.
I would love to be able to use "nascar" with a catch phrase.
Or a celeb with a funny phrase.

I read here someone uses Obama pics and what not...
