Not Recieving Payment for Writing for a Writing service

Well you have a few choices:

- Buy a relevant domain and build a niche site with the articles. Either keep the site or flip it straight away for a quick profit.

- Troll freelance sites and wait for someone to ask for articles in the niche you wrote in.

- DP (if you are really desperate)

- AC (not sure if this works anymore)

My biz model would be put them on a site and flip it - but it's really down to personal preference.

Awesome, thanks Meat.

As you can tell I'm a newbie and I suppose this was the newbiest question I've asked after finding this site by chance.

I will look into flipping, although I am primarily interested in other methods here, but I have hundreds of articles which haven't been paid for (mainly from one or two clients). As you can see this is pretty damaging to my business and that's why I'm starting to poke my nose down different avenues.

sorry to hear that dud, if only there is some insurance for this kind of business to protect the publisher as well..

There is huge demand for decent content. You should never have unsold inventory. Try setting up a service thread here, you'd get plenty of business.

Thanks again, I'm going to set up a service thread I just have some major projects to clear first so I can give it my fullest attention (although I wanted to give the site a thorough search to see what's what, just in case).

I tested the water today by replying to someone needing a writing service and was paid instantly, so my faith in humans might be restored slightly.

**Sorry Mary for the thread-jacking** :D

:DBoth clients have around 12-15 sites each. That would be a lot of work, but cause a lot of pain. :D

So here is what I would do. I would contact him one more time. Say that you expect payment in 24 hours. If not then you are going to turn the articles over to internet marketers. Then let us blast the fire out of them to crap sites and run the value of them down the crapper.

Or that you are going to go to the customer and tell them the were contracting you to write and see if you can pick up the business direct.

If you dont mind shoot me a pm with your pricing. I have some work I can put your way.

Yeah just ruin the articles. I've done that in the past when I had a kid skip out on me.

Awesome, this rocks. I gave him 7 days from last Wednesday so I will send that in the morning (keeping to MY word, as ever).

He is the MD of the company so there was no middle man so to speak.

I shall report back in case nothing comes of it. I'd rather get the hosting company to take the sites down then I can use the articles myself as they are fairly valuable, but if all fails, you guys can go nuts :D

I can't p .m. at the moment and I'm at full capacity with work at the moment, but will be in touch in a day or two if that's OK. Thanks.

WOW, that threat worked. Getting paid today :)

Thanks to all of the above ideas, I didn't want to have to go down that route although 50 days without payment is not cool at all.

Spin the articles, clone the site and make my own money from his niche.

Billsboards - I shall message you soon.

Mary,

I feel for you. I spent several years working for content mills like IRA and a few others. It has been about 3 years, I think, since I did work for IRA but I would never work for Clark again. I did always receive payment but I had a family emergency and had to give back an assignment ONE TIME and he was incredibly rude to me. After all the assignments that I completed, for disgustingly low pay, and mine were always on time and never needed editing...well, to have him be a jerk with what was going on in my life, just took the cake.

Is he still paying $3.50 per article? Have you seen what he sells them for? You can easily make twice as much, if not more, by getting into ghostwriting for regular clients on your own.
