Hey guys, I'm 15 and my family's having some slight financial problems. I can't get a job I have the time or transit for, so I was hoping I could earn some money from the place I love: the internet.

I have absolutely no clue how to get started with all of this stuff, and was hoping for a few pointers to get on my way. I have no idea if that's asking to much or not, but I'm hoping it isn't.

All help is appreciated, and I hope to be around these forums a bit. Thanks in advance!

Internet marketing is like a real job. The smart will survive the others will fail. You just need to decide for yourself what is important for you in life :D

Thanks for the reply though, appreciate it.
The thing is though, I don't know where to start. And where do I go to read? Just stickies, or what?

Sorry for being a total noobie, but I don't want to make any bad mistakes with something that involves money.

Whether you believe it or not, IM IS a full-time job. At least, for the successful IMer, it is. There are people here who will tell you that an 18 to 20 workday is not uncommon.

If you want to do this, be prepared for some long hours of mundane, boring, tedious work, lots and lots of reading, and enough failure to last several lifetimes. Because you WILL make mistakes and fail. A lot.

Don't get discouraged, because we've all been through the same thing. We've all had brilliant ideas explode in our faces. Its just part of the learning curve.

But when you finally hit that home run, the feeling is soooo sweet! And the pay-off makes it all worthwhile.

The best thing I can tell you, is do a bit of searching around this site, and find something that piques your interest. Then study everything you can find about it. And then TAKE ACTION! 99% of the newbies who come in here fail just because they don't put into practice what they have read.

Don't be afraid to ask relevant questions. We don't mind helping people. But, we will not spoon-feed you. If a person is too lazy to try to find an answer on their own first, then they are certainly too lazy for IM, and they won't last long around here.

Welcome to the forum. I hope to see you in a year or so, making a post about how BHW helped you achieve your dreams.
