Hi guys, I just received an infraction from http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/members/655173-sgudav.html (BHW Intern - Mod in training) for a thread announcing the launch of my new Clickbank product in the Clickbank forum. Original post: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/clickbank/625830-some-hole-shot-my-pet-dog-rifle-put-clickbank.html#post6278394 The quoted rule is "Advertising affiliate program outside Marketplace is not allowed". Firstly, it's not an AFFILIATE PROGRAM - it's a PRODUCT (Clickbank is the program). Secondly, that's a little crazy isn't it? There are HUNDREDS of product launch threads in the Clickbank forum. It has been used by affiliates for many years so they can ask questions directly to the vendor and get resources from them. It's not just advertising, it is engaging with BHW members and helping them promote the product - specifically to Clickbank's ways and providing methods and tips to promote. Finally, the description for the Clickbank forum even says "Discuss all of your ClickBank related products" there. To be honest, this is total BS. My thread was just affiliates asking questions and getting feedback for the product. Requiring to have to post in the Affiliate Programs - CPA Networks (WTF?!) section for Clickbank launches is total sh!t!
