Since 6 days ago my site dropped in all our main keywords, I went from 120 hits a day to 20 hits a day from google. my site usually does google dance but within 2-3 days its back at even higher position. So far it's been 6 days and the keywords we used to rank #1-5 for, are either not showing or are in low ranking 10-50+ positions.

My site is 2 years old and it has google authority sitelinks. I'm thinking of hiring someone to blast the hell out of it. Or maybe its better idea to blast some tier 1 web2.0 sites that are linking to it?

guys im desperate for some ideas to get my rankings back, please help.

Yeah man, I have experienced the EXACT same issue with one of my sites. Completely white hat, aged domain, 100+ indexed pages, multiple #1 rankings, and bam! overnight I lost 90% of traffic. G still loves me, as they index my content instantly, but rankings are messed up. I'm just giving it some time before i do serious linking. Just adding content regularly right now. Wish I had some answers too man.

Keep us posted on any developments.

Just keep building links to it. I have gone into a dance that lasted two whole months. Build links and it will come back

ive had a similar dance a while ago that lasted 2 or so months, but lately as my site gained authority in its niche the dances have lasted a few days at most. i really dont want to resort to scrapebox blasting as I wish to keep it more white hat, but i will have to do it if all else starts to fail.

Don't blast directly to your money site whatever you do.

This depends almost entirely on his lists...
99% of all competitive niches are controlled by scrapebox blasts directly to sites (it'd be hard to compete without them)

True, if he has a quality list with just pr4-p9 links I suppose he could but generally most people just blast a full unfiltered list and I think in his case this would cause more harm then good.

What kind of scrapebox lists do you recommend blasting to your money site mate? I've been really successful with SEO by keeping a rule of thumb to never blast by money site but like you say for the competitive niches this sometimes isn't an option. I'd like to learn more about blasting my money sites directly. :beerchug:

lots of unique domains lots of comments little pinging... try to get do follow lists
Pick a hyper competitive niche ... and take apart their backlinks, steal all of the domains... filter them for AA (try to create good comments when you check them so you get a lot of approvals later down the line too) and once you do this enough you'll have quite the amazing do-follow list

There's always other methods I use I'm unwilling to share at this time, but if you cannot run 10 instances of scrapebox 24/7 then you won't get the full advantage of my other process anyway.

Actually this is simply a Google dance. It could even be from natural incoming links.

I have a website in a competitive niche that I was ranking 2nd for quite some time. Suddenly I'm at the number one spot for a few months while the #1 guy fell off the map.

He has done NOTHING different, and has simply had some nice natural backlinks come in which caused him to drop off the map entirely until a week ago. For close to two months he couldn't be found in the first 10 pages.

I've talked to him and he hasn't a clue about SEO and you can tell by his title tags and by analyzing his backlinks. So yes, this can happen to sites that gain backlinks naturally. Just keep building content and links, and things will return to normal at some point.

also please keep in mind, this is not just my top keywords, but this is all my longtails as well. I usually have about 100 different keywords per day that people use to find my site, however now i see only about 20 different keywords in analytics.
