Hey everyone, so I got the copy of ABS in the downloads section, and have pretty much all of it figured out with the exception of one thing right now. Picking a niche, and having the blog rank for that specific keyword.

I did some whole long tail research and came up with say,

    scuba diving in california.

Now how do I go about getting my blog to rank for that phrase when all my content is just pulled from feeds about scuba diving?

This is my first attempt at actually doing something and not just sitting here reading about everyone's success, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think you are missing the point of autoblogging. If you have a specific keyword you want to rank for, then you should write a post that is optimized specifically for that keyword, and then build backlinks to the site using that exact keyword as anchor text. in autoblogging, you just let the posts create themselves without any keywords in mind and you just naturally get traffic from longtail keywords that your site ranks for without you trying. then if you happen to find your site stumbles across some good keywords, then you can target those keywords and try to move up the rankings. but if you have specific keywords you want to rank for, then you have to optimize for those keywords, which is "regular blogging", not "autoblogging".

i think if you are planning to make autoblog then long tail specific niche is not good choice. you will not find enough content.
