Noob facebook question (Yes, I used the search function :D )

Hello,

I have a facebook fan page and it has a ~200,000 fans. I want to set an application / ctrl script on it now. Is it possible to add an app to an already made fan page? If so, maybe a little explanation? I can't seem to figure it out =/

Is that a script that tells you to press ctrl, then after you do it gives you another set of directions, eventually leading to the person inviting all of their friends to your page before the content shows?

Follow MoneyMan's advice in the one thread you posted in (1.13 Million Fans). You go adding scripts and viral FBML codes you are going to lose the page.

no dont ever do that, As hitman said dont waste your page, fb may delete your page for viral script. Do with a new page and spam the new page in your 200k page

Yea, I remember that thread, it's solid advice. I used a script to help me get to 200k . Like Moneyman said though, it will probably get banned - but not before I've monetized it some and sent some of the traffic else where. It just seems worth it to go viral and direct all that traffic to a legit page(s) that aren't going to get banned (or so I think) am I wrong?

How do you feel this way about creating a new page, making it viral with a script, then directing the traffic to multiple sites, maybe even an email opt-in?

Has anyone tried the above? I hate to re-ask the same question, it's an important one to me though. It's going to be the difference in pushing forward with FB or not for me.
