Nobody Is Clicking My Youtube Links

Hey.

So I put up a bunch of product review videos that are actually getting quite a few hits. Yet NOBODY is clicking them. Zip zero.

I have the description like this:

Domain.com/Reredirect ; Click to BUY NOW!

BLAH BLAH BLAH DESCRIPTION BLAH BLAH BLAH

Could it be the URL? It is (don't laugh) retailprincess dot you know what. It was a marketing ploy (bad one?) to get people to click. I figured it'd you know work on their subconscious or some stupid stuff. But it's not working at all and I'm at a loss here.

And obviously, I add a redirect clause such as retailprincess dot you know what / REDIRECT for the particular product, whether it's a KindleFireHD or GalaxySamsung or whatever.

Any tips? FYI, they all link to their corresponding products on Amazon. I really want to make this work. I mean with this sort of traffic, you'd expect at least 1 click per 100 people, but it's zip zero.

How are you tracking the clicks? How many views have you gotten so far?

I'd tone down the pitch a bit with something like "For more info, please visit xxxx.com". You actually got to test a few lines but we need answer to the questions first.

People don't like "BUY NOW!" people like "FREE". So you have to use something else to get them interested in your link.

Hmm. Interesting. I am tracking using the redirect plugin. For each redirect, it tells how many hits it has received. Views total about 300. I had more luck with my other domain. I used to do yahoo answers. I just used my old e-cig store smokewithoutfear and got more hits than I do with retailprincess. It just seems like that retailprincess thing turns people off.

Regardless, I will try changing up my wording and removing the 'buy now' and whatnot. Appreciate it!

I don't really think its the domain, though you could try something short. But the main thing probably is the "BUY NOW" , rather use "see more" " more info at" "more at" or something that does not indicate that they are going to buy anything. As shadedream said "Free" is the word of tod.. eternity. Maybe try something like "check out free now at " it doesn't need to indicate its free but might catch their interest to go to amazon page and get the needed info, who knows they might end up buying something else under your cookies
