No mater how many quality links i add ... my sites don't move up.

I buy only quality links (reviews), do it on a daily basis, but for 2 weeks my sites haven't moved in the serps !. I have way more links that my competitors. Any idea what's going on and how can i fix that ?

Have the links been cached? Has google seen the links you bought yet is my point?

How many links do you have total vs your competitors? Is your domain a lot newer than theirs?

does your site load wicked slow?

    Could be a 1,000 things.

When did you complete the quality backlinks campaign?? Google will not update within a day or two. It will take time usually.

In my situation is also funny, cos my competitors ahve 90% of their links comming from blogengine comments, profile links and wp comments. I have 3x more quality links from bloggers who reviewed my product stilll ..... i suck at ranking.

    #1: Wait

#2: Did you add some High PR backlinks? ( 5-6 ) You can get them mainly with blog commenting, and you find them from your competition / other well ranking sites. For me they did a lot, but I also have added many of them in the past. Make also some for your web 2.0 properties / articles to let some link juice flowing.

    #3: Wait...

    #4: Wait......

quality beats quantity, what are the sources of your links? do they have your keywords in the anchor text? are they mostly ********? do you have good content on your site? all of this matter for ranking not just how many links you get

All links are from sponsored reviews 400 words each, all have my anchor text, all are ********.

I decided recently to add some comment links both do and no follow to make my link profile look more natural. Hope it helps.

Content is unique, no spinning, quality articles written by professionals.

Are you that lazy ? Or aren't you that intelligent to understand what I said?

Anyway, I will give you an example:
    Code:
    http://timheuer.com/blog/archive/2010/03/22/geo-location-services-in-windows-phone-7-developer-emulator.aspx
Here's a PageRank 6 link where you can comment on. But that will not make it, and it has a lot of OBL!

Look for the sites that the others are spamming, and check their backlinks with Scrapebox. If you don't have it, use something like this: http://www.backlinktest.com

Sort their backlinks by PR - Take the best off it :plane:

In this case i think domain age is the reason. So keep getting some authority links. It will take some time.If you PM your domain i will give you a report.

I'm actually in a similar position. I am stuck on #5 with over 200 BL. My competitor sitting in #1 has 50 BL and no they arent quality. I checked most of them out they are pr0 and mostly profile and article links.

Check your on-page Seo. Title, h1, description, url structure. Sometimes little tweaks just push you to the first page.

An other important thing that not many has recognized is to add some fresh content right before a linking campaing. Think about it, which one seems more natural: same content for a long time and suddenly loads of links OR fresh content and then loads of links? Google thinks the new content triggered the links.

Not every link is the same, not each has the same power. But you have to be patient to see the efects of the links, don't give up, continue building backlinks. Good luck

4 years old site. Links are from 400 words reviews of my site, embeded in content (review).

What do you guys think about the age of links ?

I have site i haven't done any seo for over 6 months and my rankings keep improving. One site is even top2 for very competevive kw. I think age of the links might have something to do here.
