Is there any reason not to install a plugin which no-follow's every single outbound link on your site or client site?

Why would you wan't to nofollow ALL outbound links? Outbound links (follow) can actually benefit your site's SEO as long as it provides the viewer with answers to their initial query. If you link to a great article, but put a nofollow on it, Google won't see that article and wont credit you for great user experience, which counts a helluva lot these days. So think about it. Can't do any harm, but I wouldn't suggest it, no.

NO! Give 1-2 links every article that go outwards as DO FOLLOW.. unless your article is what I call "lander copy" which is used to "warm up cold traffic".. every article should be driven for user experience and Google rewards that!

When you write an article to warm a lead on your offer - THEN DO NOT put any outgoing links.. (even no follow).. keep em all there, nowhere else to go..

Interesting and ty both for responding.

My current case is a blog with DA 45 - we write a lot about regional things with tips/advice and often will link to 8-10 local websites in a blog post. I get squeemish about losing all that link juice. Would you say maybe to no-follow half the links that we link out to? Or perhaps no follow the links that are least relevant to the blog post? (and leave the other half as do dollow)
