Ordered a package in the Marketplace. So far after receiving the report in about 5 days I had 125 links showing up in Ahrefs. 80 of those links are no follow, the other 45 are do follow. The nofollow links are mostly profile links, and the do follows are Web 2.0's, Bookmaks and Articles.

Also for the 125 links, there are 40 referring domains.

Is it important to have a mixture of nofollow like that? Do they do anything or are they a waste?

Is 40 referring domains for 125 links bad?

TO make a link building campaign natural ,both ******** and nofollow backlinks are important .When you run a link building campaign make sure that your created links must be relevant .Focus on quality link not quantity .

40 referring domains for 125 links is ok so far as they aren't sitewide links. Nofollow links make for a natural link profile, so you should happy when you see them in your link profile.

    It's fine, it's a normal situation.
In any case if links are no-follow and non contextual, are useless (profile links).

No-follow links have to be contextual and topic relevant to have value.

Yeah, that's really good.. They did good SEO for your site.. No-follow is also the important one along with the do-follow links, as it looks natural..
If all 125 links are do-follow links then obviously it tells all are paid links.. If you get no-follow in this ratio it will not affect your site and that's the right way too.. For sure 40 profile links also gonna help you well in ranking..
Hope they might do drip feed like 25 links/day.. It's go naturally and Google needs it.. No need to worry about the result..

No follow are important. They make your backlink profile look natural. If you take some real site, it can't be it has only do follow links. So you need to mimic that.

You do not wish to worry as it's just fine. You should build nofollow links as well only for search engines so that it looks natural and they doesn't ban your site permanently.

The theme of the page where the nofollow link is helps form your site's latent something index or some bullshit like that where white hat SEO blogs pretend like they know what they're talking about.
