    Hi all,
I have 100-200 domains with Godaddy, and they seem to stop giving renewals coupons, renewals cost 15-20$ !!! ___ them !! :)
Anyway, I wanna start using a different registrar, with new domains, I have seen that namecheap also not giving renewals discounts.

Does anyone use name.com ? do they still have renewals coupons?
any other descent domain registrar anyone recommends?

    Thanks.

namecheap is the best IMHO they have only 2-3 coupons for new registers and hosting, but that's the beauty of it, they don't overcharge you like godaddy does, it's around $10 to register for another year, no coupons but no bullshit either, you don't waste time searching through 100 coupons like godaddy has to find the best ones...

Go with namecheap.. about $11 for registration with free privacy (maybe coupons can be used as well). Then $11 + $3 renewal. However, if you have > 50 domains, you should be able to get a permanent discount (used to be a GOLDDEAL coupon that's now applied automatically for me) so I get renewals at just under $10 + $1.

ye i think namecheap coupons are much more rare, u can find their official ones here: https://www.namecheap.com/promos/coupons.aspx
their normal prices are much cheaper than godaddy anyway, so by the time u add a renewal coupon on to godaddys normal price, most of the time it still comes out more than namecheap standard price!

also, be careful with the namecheap free privacy thing, they too charge for privacy but promote it as free for the 'first' year only. i just renewed some domains with them and found their system telling me i had to buy privacy again which drives the prices up!

i did have some problems with their system (pretty serious issue they say they are fixing) after i renewed and im not sure why but the privacy seemed to stick on the domain after renewal and without charging me, might be a glitch i was lucky to get or something they'll fix later.. im waiting to see what happens there..

another registrar with good prices (and free privacy for life) that was recommended on another thread here is namesilo, i just checked them out and found their prices are really good too, im in the process of transferring some domains to them now to see how their service is ;)

Just transferred my domains from namecheap to namesilo. Namesilo offers lifetime free whois guard and is cheaper than namecheap.

If you have 100+ domains then the cheapest method is joining Godaddy discount club with one of those promo codes. You can auto renew .com domains for around 8.40 $$ and .info for 8.90. They have shitty marketing methods but still it's the cheapest method. For some those who have just handful of domains it's cheaper to move those a place like Namecheap.

Move to Namesilo.I renew all my domains with them. Quite cheap as it just costs $8 for renewal with privacy free. Even Namecheap charges a bit more.

You have 100-200 domain ? Its long distance between 100 and 200. How we measure how many do you have ? People says 100-120 that every one can measure that he have 110-115 or something like that in the middle of 100-120. But how we can measure actually do you have ?

How ever if cant renew then give away to the BHW member. They will renew. Give me some i will renew, LOL.

I moved to Name Silo yesterday and no problems. Transferring domains are just a pain in the ass in general though but well worth it in this case.

"Don't try to con a Con Man, & never try to hustle a Hustler."
I've been moving all of mine from GoDaddy to NameCheap with or without a coupon/code. Just transferred a group yesterday online flawlessly & w/o having to talk to "slick" wannabe con man. I 1st learned of NameCheap from this forum.
Mainly GoDaddy is too much Bull Shit! On numerous instances I've submitted coupons to invoices, told "Congratulations, the discounts were applied." when actually the discounts were not applied. Just check my posts here on BHW for more of my reasons, or send me a PM.
If nothing else privacy protection is free for the 1st year w/ NameCheap. Plan ahead & you can work around that in the future.

I also try name silo because it is at least 2 times cheaper, transfered my first 3 domains out of 50 today, I hope everything works fine. Total price 24 usd (1 year renewal + whois protection), so 8$ for one domain and I do not have to search for coupons. Go Daddy charges 45$ for it:)

Forgot to mention, that with WHOIS protection it would be even more expensive with GD.
