I've made 2 blogs which both has a anchor text link which takes you to my main site. 5 days later trying to see how many many backinks my main site has and ahrefs gives me zero backlinks. What DA F?

Have you pinged/indexed the backlinks? Otherwise it can take a while for them to be crawled.

It will take some time to show up those links to in backlink checking tools.

Ahrefs and Majestic hardly cover 1% of all links even when combined. You have to realize these companies simply do not have anywhere near the processing capabilities as Google or other search engines.

Google literally has 250,000 (or more) to every 1 server of those link tracking companies. Seriously, Google has their own power plants, lol

... In other words, never expect to see 100% of your links from a 3rd party tool.

I wouldn't worry too much about some tool showing you whether or not your links are indexed. I'll be more focused on serp movement from the link building.
