    Hi,

I have made sites in the past and currently work mainly developing intranet applications when it comes to web development and I got interested about MNS and Authority sites and would like to ask for those who work on the field and/or have their own a few questions.

    Micro Niche Sites related questions:

    1. How much money can you make off of a single micro niche site ? (just an average is ok)
    2. How many micro niche sites you have and how much you get from all of em ? (just an average is ok)
    3. What methods you use to monetize it ? (not asking for your tricks just what you use as in Google Adsense or some Affiliate network or amazon, no need for a deep answer)
    4. Do you use google analytics and/or think that using it will impact on your site revenue ?
    5. What is your routine maintnance of it ? (like how many articles you add daily or weekly, if u keep boosting traffic to it using any application (seems rather a blackhat here), etc.)
    6. How long it takes to start seeing some clicks or a good stead amout of traffic ?
    7. How many articles you have posted by the time the previous question happened ?

    Authority Sites related questions:

    1. How much money can you make off of a single authority content site ? (just an average is ok)
    2. How many authority content sites you have and how much you get from all of em ?

Questions are pretty much the same for both areas.

I am dead confused, I wanted some help in regards these questions but it seems no one is whilling to answer it nor say a word wether my question is badly made in any way so I can perhaps rework it out or w/e.

I could read sellers review and topics about their MNS and AS sells but that would not be a good way to get any of these questions of the boards as I would have no way to know how reliable it was.

For the momment this is what I am thinking about it:

    A) People are not making any money off of MNS/AS other then displaying fake stats and selling it to 3rd parties/using to boost BHM ?
    B) There is some real secret behind the questions I've asked and no one wants or is whilling to answer it ?
    C) No one is actually running either and thus can't answer anything ?

Would really appreciate if people would come forth and anwser to any of the above questions at the main topic.

My authority sites (hereinafter AS) have approx 30 pages, which I add the first week when making the blog. After that I add blogg posts every second week to make the website more legit.
I cannot tell you how your paid authority site will perform but my AS have almost 12 000 words which means that I get a steady stream of traffic already after the third week even if the website is not in the first page for its main keyword. So I start get my first clicks or commissions after 2-3 weeks.

Don't stop working on your AS after you have got it delivered, keep adding articles (write yourself or buy) to your website and you will be seeing traffic and clicks increase all the time.

Hope I answered a few questions for you to cgimaster.

    Hi 0scan0,

Would you mind telling me how much a single of your authority sites make monthly (average) ?

Do you do anything besides basic SEO on the site to promote it to get your initial traffic (like any blackhat methods, etc) or just the site+SEO+30 pages will do it by itself within the first 2-3 weeks ?

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer some of the questions.

An AS is somthing that you will always work on you wont stop after 30 pages you will still have to do SEO on your site if you want it to be rnaked in the top 3 for each keyword used ofcorse as the site matures and you get more content and google starts to trust your site it will start to index your pages higher with out need for SEO but you will always have to upload content.

Its hard to get any information from someone telling you what they make from there AS becuase it also depends on your nieche some clicks will get paid more than others such as i no many people that have AS that make around $0.50-$1 per click but i have a close friend that has a very successful AS that is making $5 per click so you really cant get any information from what he earns plus its personal information its a little rude to ask.

    Good luck broski

    Hi slipday1,

Yes I understand that I will need to constantly update the site what I meant to ask is for the initial content+SEO and ongoing maintnance, if just that will get myself started or if I will have to do something behind the scenes to get my site started.

As for the earnings, what I want to know is merelly an average, I understand that clicks and everything changes from site to site but what I am really interested is just to know if they can make some good money in the end to pay off for all the work invested in articles, SEO and anything else needed as I am planning to run my own AS, I also understand that is a personal question which I asked for a estimative and not what he actually earn and people usually tend to have multiple sites so that is not their actual earnins.

Ah okay i see thats all i did just grabbed a new domain got a nice looking theme got 30 articles postede them to directories and blacklinked everything got a nice page rank 3 a little after that and i started to write one article a week and doing own SEO so i was able to see the income and now i am really lazy plus i got a job so i now outsorce content writing to iwriter (really good for cheap content that is also very well writen) and i get my SEO done sometimes from Fiverr and sometimes from G Garlic 2 i belive it is for the content that is a little bit harder to rank but the money it makes easily covers the amount spent on the articles and SEO its jsut the investment granted if you spend say $200 on Articles and SEO you wont get it back in one day it might take around a month or 2 but then after that its all profit and just scale up money makes money bro :)

    Good Luck

p.s. hope that made sense im at work and trying to speed type sorry for no grammar and maybe spelling just doing it asap :p

    Hi,

After 3-4 weeks before the website is ranking for its main keyword I make approx: 80$ per week (320$ month) when the website starts ranking for its main keyword this sum increases to 140$ a week.
This is of course very depending on your monetizing and the niche you are in. Let me also say that my experience of AS sites is from non english sites wich means that the competition is much easier. It could take a few more weeks to rank a english AS site because of the competition.

    Regarding the SEO methods used:
    - I write articles and submits those to web 2.0.
    - Change links with relevant websites.
    - Trackback linking.
    - Manual blog commenting.
    - Link directories.
    - Create social profiles for the website and link them to the website.

And as slipday1 says you have to keep working on the AS site after this. Keep creating links to the new articles that you are publishing.

I do all the SEO work for myself and you should to, so you can start earning money faster.

    Miscellaneous:

I use a analytic wordpress plugin to my AS sites, so I can see how the visitors increasing and what they search for in Google to find my site. I don't like to put the Google Analytics code in my website thats why. When the visitors per day hit 30, I add all the affiliate links or Adsense.

Slipday1, thanks for your feedback, been very helpful.

0scan0, very appreciated for your detailed input, do you think that using google analytcs creates any impact to your content as in descrease visits or indexing or anything ?

You really got me motivated now to work on my own AS, I can also work on a non US AS like you mentioned I will really look into it and see the difference from the keywords research I will be doing soon.

Besides ADSENSE if you dont mind what other ways to monetize your sites you found that were worth using ?

For the social profiles, do you make fake ones for each site or a main one for all ?

Really thank you very much for the input scan.

As to ongoing articles and SEO of course I had that in mind that to keep the ranking and earning I would need to do that I was just not very sure of a good min amount of articles I should be adding every week or month or day but from your last post I can guess an avg now ;)

    No worries dude :)

There have been discussions on Google Analytics in this forum and different negative inputs have been brought up for discussion, but I don't think that using Google Analytics will have any inpact on your content or indexing. I just don't like the idea to put their analytics code in my website.

I mostly use affiliate programs with an comission of 5-10% on sales.
I only have text links (ex: see product and prize) and pictures (on the product) with the affiliate link, I don't use banner at all, people just don't click on banners in the same extent.

Social profiles: I make one real main account (Legit) on Facebook, Youtube, Google+, Twitter.
I post tweets and facebook updates with links to my new articles when adding new articles to the website.
You can of course make fake ones for your web 2.0 profiles.

Good luck with your AS site cgimaster!
